8:04 Thank you Fir and Amethyst for including my moon! For some reason, jumping out of the water with a Cheep Cheep and landing directly on the flower without touching the ground gives you a SUPER bounce!

That was a great moon - showing off a weird mechanic that would never have a reason come up in normal gameplay or speedrunning is incredibly unique for this sort of thing.

For the last moon, the 5 and 1 refer to how the pillars are placed. If you look at the left two it looks like a V which is roman numeral for 5 and the right 1 pillar is just I for 1.

14:14 I was overthinking this one way too much. The Sand painting leads to Metro and then the Wooded painting sometimes leads to Sand and then the Metro painting, in that case, leads to Wooded so it’s got to do with the paintings obviously.

For the last one, the phrase "Why can't we come inside?" is said by the Shiverian that's outside of the door that contains the room where Mario plays the guitar, I'm guessing that it wanted you to go east from that spot until you found something similar to that first image, and the same but north for the second. I have no idea what "anything to the power of 0" means though...

the 5 1 clue is the pillars looking like Roman numerals V (5) and I (1). any number to the power of zero (x⁰) is equal to one, so he has to go to the "one" pillar.

8:09 for those who don't know, the Konami Code (Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, sometimes games would add Select and/or Start) was an input code you would enter in old arcade games to get free powerups. It originated from Gradius (1985) where it would give you nearly every powerup in the game at once, and was popularized by the NES port of Contra 1 (1988), where it would give you 30 lives. Personally, I know it from Insaniquarium Deluxe (2001) where it would let you enter Sandbox Mode if you've completed the campaign at least once.
