Even the nerfed Nitro Fist is still the most insane Melee Weapon, the fact u don’t have it on number 1 is insane, just recently I was playing a free for all creative map and in the map u had to grind for the nitro fist with like 120 coins, I got half of em and my friend gave me the rest. And my god i really forget how unbelievably broken they are I had gotten like over 180 kills and like a 34 streak as it’s very hard to counter em, to be fair the nitro charge punch’s and upper cuts were unlimited for some reason I eventually made the whole lobby leave besides one guy that refused to give up. Interesting thing is a lot of people tired countering me with other melee weapons like the riot shield, hade’s chain, the chapter 4 blade but the two most efficient were the shockwave hammer and typhoon blade they have a decent chance but with the upper cuts and charged punches it would cancel out their attacks and I still mostly kill them, if we ever do get in all melee weapons only game mode I think Nitro Fist will not be included or incredibly nerfed, I still say this is the most broken weapon they ever had.

@@Mk23Golden not a new gen I played all the way back from season 2, Infinity blade is still pretty broken with 75 damage but if Nitro Fists can just cancel out the damage it shouldn’t be a problem then.

Typhoon blade at 8 is crazy. Insane movement, decent for rotating, solid damage when up close, you can send people flying. Pair it with the invis medallion and it’s borderline unwinnable to play against in zero builds. In builds melee weapons are almost always gutted by default for obvious reasons.

Thing is, comparing the Typhoon ans Kinetic Blades isn't really fair, they function differently with different goals The Typhoon Blade is meant to be an actual melee weapon, one that does augment your movement, but in a way that you can better use the weapon in fights and get around during fights without getting gunned down as easily, its basic attack is more elaborate and its cyclone slash is designed moreso to hit a large area in front of you, it has pseudo-dash properties but you're not sliding into anyone's box from the side with it The Kinetic Blade on the other hand, was designed primarily as a mobility item, and as you said you didn't use its melee functions nearly as much, its basic attack is just a 2 hit that flings opponents back, which while it can be used for a combo, it's moreso a get-off-me tool in a pinch if you're in trouble, the Kinetic Blade is all about that dashing around, sliding into people's boxes, being tough to hit while rotating, it was designed first and foremost for mobility rather than combat

In builds, the typhoon blade with icy feet goes hard. Make a ramp and jump right at the edge, and you launch so far. Jump again in the air to cancel fall damage.

The Nitro Fist should be number one and here is why. Vampiric Blade: the vampiric blade is nice but it has to charge after doing 2 hits which is bad because you’re left open for about 2 seconds which could get you beamed. Also, after most attacks you will be a sitting duck. Siphoning 75 damage is useless when you could lose it within the span it took to gain it. Infinity Blade: Although you gain 400 hp it’s pretty uselsss against the Nitro fist since the fist can do about 350 damage in a full combo; Uppercut, slam attack, 4 normal hits, and uppercut into slam attack. So even with all that health it’ll be gone before you know it. Also the infinity blade leaves you so open for attacks after every swing and the leap attack only does 25 damage. Shockwave hammer: No neeed for explanation except the nitro fist can decimate the shockwave hammer because of its broken speed and damage
