Demko is back and healthy compared to him being out last year and us having a actual back up and not a AHL goalie. You say they are more in the know, but Elliot Friedman and Frank Seravilli I am sure you would say are more in the know that them have both stated Demko for the Vezina and that Canucks would make playoffs.

As a Canucks fan you’re way too negative on them. They added Pius Suter, Teddy Blueger, Carson Soucy, Ian Cole, and Sam Lafferty. All of these guys were brought in to fix the Canucks main problem, which is the PK. The defence core is better than last year, and Demko imo is a top 10 goalie in the league. At the very least put them in wild card, I mean they just destroyed your “cream of the top” 8-1 and made the two best players in the world frustrated…

Here is the one time I will agree with Jesse. I went to game 5 of the cup final as my first game ever in Vegas, that place from pre-game festivities (they brought Steve Aoki to do a 1 hour set before doors opened and there was also an opening act on before him) and the vibe the whole game was like a club. That place is cranked up to 20 the whole game. Warmups it's bumping, tv time outs it's bumping, intermission they treat like a club with more pumped up music and the MC does everything he can to keep the crowd into the game for the whole game. I know people harp on Vegas' MC for being loud but I swear that man like us fans can barely hear ourselves think when your at even 1 game in Vegas.

I think people forget that Drouin's first couple of years in Montreal were actually pretty solid, plus he scored at least half a point per game in every one of his seasons with the habs. Injuries and pressure were what brought him down, but I think he'll shine with the Avs. He's a skilled player for sure

Corwin sounds like he knows nothing about the Canucks. Even before the season started we improved the roster significantly with Cole, Soucy, Blueger, Suter, Desmith. Our guys were here practicing weeks before training camp cause Hughes and Petey forced them. Trading Horvat was a great move, he's a laid back guy that really just wants to hangout, get paid and chill. Nothing wrong with that but he was never gonna lead us to playoff contention. Hughes is a great captain and he always gives 100% effort.
