Cedar Point is known as the Roller Coaster Capital of the World, but in 2022 (and to an extent 2021) it received quite a bit of hate. After Steel Vengeance opened in 2018, things such as the Fast Lane system among other factors have led to the park being disliked by some. From the Top Thrill Dragster accident causing the ride to be closed in 2021 and 2022, to Cedar Point operations being panned, to some other issues that will or will not be discussed in this video, the fall of Cedar Point has occurred for many. And with the Cedar Point 2023 roller coaster being a new wild mouse and rumors of Top Thrill Dragster closing forever after the accident in 2022, some are concerned for the future. In this video, I will explain why the park has received hate lately and see why Kings Island has come close to and possibly succeeded at taking Cedar Point's crown. Why is Cedar Point Getting So Much Hate?

Great list brotha! It's cool to see the options they have for kid rides. Sometimes I forget those even exist. I also refer to my horse at Cedar Downs as "Millenium Horse", sometimes "Neigh-hem"" I would like Cedar Point to get a dark ride or 2 soon & also another water ride, like a flume that they used to have for the families, or even a Mack Water Coaster. Wave Swinger I don't mind. It's a solid way to dry off after a trip down the rafts (as is it's neighbor, Skyhawk. Kudos on a great video

The Sky Ride did used to have a third station. It was the yellow building by Skyhawk and Cedar Creek Mine Ride that is now a bathroom. They got rid of it a good while ago, but my dad’s talked about it before. In my personal opinion, Magnum is a top 4 ride. Can be rough, but it’s really air time filled. I’d probably rank these differently, but to each their own

According to the description, Top Thrill Dragster had an accident in 2032. Eric went 10 years into the future. So, TTD is coming back in a new form but in 10 years it will have another accident. Good to know.

Interesting. My comment disappeared. Ive been going to Cedar Point since the 1970s. I LOVE Frontiertown. The sky ride is iconic and also a favorite. My favorite coasters are the Gemini and Maverick. The Blue Streak is another favorite, but it has gotten too rough, and I have gotten too big, to enjoy it any more.

Cedar point is my best friend’s favorite place on earth, and we just went there last weekend for her 18th birthday. She rode Iron dragon for the first time completing her task of riding everything she’s able to go on physically (this excludes rides that are closed or made for little little kids)

I miss wicked twister being there. The first time I rode maverick was the last weekend mantis was open. We rode it 6 times in a row but quit after getting put on the second train and having the very cold wind off the lake effect beat us up waiting at the hill. That’s the only complaint I have about that coaster, it’s also pretty impressive for Mellenium Force to have no inversion and be so fun

Awesome video! I’m going to miss original dragster, but the park still has a stacked lineup. Steve is amazing, and my number one overall. It has some crazy ejector airtime, solid laterals, and good pacing. But keep up the great work!

Super Himalaya, Tiki Twirl, Scrambler, Cedar Downs Racing Carousel, Cadillac Cars, Train and Thunder Canyon were always my favorite rides. I can't ride coasters or thrill rides.

OK gatekeeper is fine but I feel like you’re over selling it a little bit it doesn’t even come close to Tatsu’s quality I honestly think gatekeepers location gives it a big bump for most people because the wind in your face is definitely stronger near the water

Gatekeeper is just a wonderful, fun experience for me. Tatsu is definitely better, but they are probably 5-10 spots apart in my overall rankings.
