The others will beat you up and maybe spit on you or smth, but snow ghost will bury your body in a snowy grave Capt. It's funny you mentioned the hermit at the end, because he scared me when I was younger. His voice is really strange and he lives in this secluded cave. That part where he's yelling for the gang to come back as he shakes his fist, is extremely creepy.

The ones that genuinely creeped me as a kid (i think mostly because of framing) were Headless Horseman (after getting his head), Cat Creature and Milo Booth (i think the black and white film helped). Special mention to the scene in Vampire Bats and Scaredy Cats where she turns around having answered the phone, and is now a vampire.

If you have the chance, you should make a tier list for What's New Scooby Doo. That's the series I actually watched in my childhood and it has a few trully dangerous monsters, compared to the classic show. I mean, I'm not gonna spoil it, but I still remember the episode about the "House of the Future", seriously, the main bad and the way they actually tried to kill people are surprisingly disturbing even for a family show.

I don't know when someone decided to make mummies a monster but it hasn't ever been done right. The scary thing about mummies is that by the time you see one, you're already cursed. You can tear the mummy's desiccated body apart, but you're dying on your way home due to a combination of sudden onset cancer and a traffic accident.
