Disagree with ahig as an amazing album, but huge agree with gehenna, easily top 5 songs from them, also there’s a bonus track on .5 called The Burden, and jesus what an underrated gem. While first two albums are amazing and as nu metal albums aged really well, I personally think Vol 3 and We Are Not Your Kind are the best, The End So Far is not their worst and Adderall is legit great song, I don’t even need to ignore that it’s a Slipknot song, I love it. Looking forward for Look Outside Your Window.

I’d put Iowa S it’s my personally favorite and the only one I still really listen to, I think their “thing” with the album is leaning more into like a death metal sound (still softer) but implementing more elements of that whether it’s the riffs or the use of blast beats and what not to make a heavier album then the first

Personally I love the end so far, it is an amazing album with different styles and textures, it is just better wanyk. However I despise All Hope Is Gone, weakest album with the worst singles. With that being said Gematria, AHIG, This Cold Black and gehenna are bangers, while butchers and wherein are the most abysmal music i've heard. Good video, just those two parts I would change. Oh yeah and make iowa, TESF and self titled highest

WANYK was actually the first of their albums I started on, and yet I feel that the entire era from the self-titled album to AHIG is leagues better (and not even because of Joey; Jay is a god in his own right). Iowa is by far the best of them all. The end so far doesn't even feel like it's the same band.

Honestly, i fuck with drunk you's ranking, Iowa and Self Titled are phenomenal, but are very samey and sometimes i just dont want to listen to that angry of music, the time of my teenage angst has past, Vol 3 is perfect placement because its got some bangers on it, Vermilion in particular, god tier song, but is overall pretty forgettable, AHIG was great also, some of the songs were meh, but then others came in and just bent you over and gave you all they had, Gehenna was like Vermilions little brother, this album is the one to listen to for just straight bangers. The Gray Chapter I think is severely underrated, its got some serious bangers with the aggression and sadness of some of their earlier work. WANYK is PEAK slipknot, its got metal, its got sadness, its got deep lyrics, its got experimentation, its got it all, and im not talking about the end so far because im completely forgot that album existed tbh
