39:15 actually, Qui-Gon Jin had a reputation for being one of the best swordsman in the Jedi order. Obviously he was butchered by Maul, but this is likely because of his natural stamina loss because of aging. I forget what video I saw, and the guy went way more in-depth than I did, but it does make sense that he would be one of the best duelists, considering he was the padawon of Count Dooku/Darth Tyrannus

1:53 the Red Togruta is Shaak Tii. She was a Backround Jedi in the prequels, she oversaw the clones on Kamino during clone wars. She had 4 different death scenes pending on continuity because Lucas couldn't pick one. He planned to Death Scenes in Revnge of the Sith and scrapped both. The EU kept using her because of this.

"Qui-Gon had his ass beaten by Darth Maul" What an unnoble statement. Qui-Gon saw his death (you can see his realization moments before it). He continued the duel voluntarily, knowing he had to give Maul the kill. Why? Because Qui-Gon is in the story just to show what the Jedi originally were (reserved from politics, serving harmony of life). The point of Star Wars is the demise of the Jedi corrupted by worldly power. If Qui-Gon remained, his sense of truth and guiding powers would've destroyed the Sith plot to corrupt Anakin. He's simply too OP because he's a reflection of earlier times. Qui-Gon truly senses a 'destiny' higher and more profound than himself. If he thought just in terms of characters and history, he should obviously keep himself alive to protect Anakin and thus defeat evil... Instead, he leaves an unknownness about why he chose to die, likely because he knew he wasn't a part of this era. It's like Qui-Gon is an agent of the Force itself, him and Sidious being the only ones who directly serve a 'Force', not a Master above them. I mean no, Qui-Gon wasn't "inferior" to Maul. QG's story isn't about the power balance of the time (the current Sith Lord vs the current Jedi)... his story is guided by something beyond. He portrays the beauty of the original Jedi but doesn't interfere with the destiny of the current Jedi, so we can say it was directly author's intent what guided Qui-Gon; but seeing it from inside the Star Wars world, the author (and the story) are basically the Force itself.

There were quite a few missed characters which kinda sucked, like Hera Syndulla, Omega, Cham Syndulla, Sabine Wren (in that case I’d probably do rebels and Ahsoka separately, Satine Kryze, Zeb, Chopper, Rose (sequels so I didn’t want to add her to the list but she still counts), Fives and Echo, Tarkin, (the only two other clones who I think are necessary), a few other sequel characters, and, even tho she doesn’t appear often, I’d say Depa Billaba because she does actually get a good bit of characterization indirectly in Rebels and directly in the Bad Batch. If you did any of them do let me know those were just some people that stood out to me as missing
