A few notes: The video I used for footage didn't feature Lisa Lisa for some reason, and I somehow didn't catch it. That's on me. If it's any consolation, she gets an A tier. Also, sorry for the weird fades on Zeppeli and Rohan's sections. The video kept crashing while rendering during those two parts specifically and the only way I could make it work was to cut out some footage. Otherwise, I hope you enjoy! EDITS: A few amendments. I have no idea what I was talking about with Hol Horse's HHA "shooting a single bullet". He obviously shoots multiple times. Also, it was pointed out to me that the big ankh in Avdol's super comes out of the ground like it does in the story, which I honestly didn't notice while recording/editing. I think the fact that I didn't notice it speaks double to what I said about the move's readability, but it's still worth mentioning.

Also another interesting thing about DIO's roadroller: if you use it against Jotaro, not only it will have a slightly different animation (he will try to punch the roller away, other characters are just hit by it), *the Jotaro player can perform a secret counter to reduce the effects of Dio's super.* It involves Jotaro using his timestop to escape the roadroller's explosion, and then using it again to try to (unsuccessfully) attack DIO from behind.

Giorno's is also really cool, as he has a unique HHA for each character. Jonathan gets his eye poked out (like in Part 1), and Final Pucci attempts to rotate gravity so Gold Experience has to put his left hand holding the left side of his head. I know there are more though.

7:25 This was actually done really well here, by making the HHA relatively weak compared to his other moves, encouraging you to use your Heat bar with other moves and making cool mixups and baits, really making you *feel* like Joseph. Really good choice of a character to put in the demo, became my main almost instantly.

As a Part 4 Jotaro main, I think you’re right on his supers being kinda lame but they still have a special place in my heart lol. But I will say this, his moveset is actually a lot different than part 3. Maybe not so much visually, but from a gameplay standpoint, and it actually fits the character a lot. In part 3 he’s young and angry, never really holding back, and it shows in his longer and stronger moves with heavy recovery attached. While in part 4 he’s older, calmer, and more calculated, which would make sense with him doing less damage with the upside that his moves have a lot better recovery. I do still wish we got a part 6 Jotaro over part 4 if they were always planning on having two Jotaros in the game though. I think the above points would only prove more obvious assuming they were implemented properly. Great video btw! I think you nailed around 99% of the placements but you had great reasoning for each placements so I respect all of them

Fun fact: if you use gironos hha against Jonathan he will eye gouge him. This is to represent the scene in part 1 when young dio eye gouged young Jonathan while they were boxing.

There's so many of those. Polnareff sticks his tongue out like when Hol Horse was holding him at gunpoint, Dio gets his skull broken, Kosaku-Kira makes the face he does when Crazy Diamond punches him in the last fight, Pucci gets his head crushed the way Weather Report killed him, and quite a few more besides

Well, Avdol does use a bung of normal crossfire hurricanes in the anime, and in the game, the crossfire hurricane special comes out of the ground, like with Polnareff's battle

another thing I really dislike for wamuu's GHA (and also vanilla ice and okuyasu's to a lesser extent) is that in the manga/anime it's a terrifying attack that erases anything it touches, it's so powerful that it tears apart his body, and it *approaching* you is the scary part - honestly I'd have preferred that his GHA be Divine Sandstorm, it has the potential to be so cinematic and to feel *meaty* - I'd then prefer atmospheric rift to be one of his modes that breaks his meter and/or drains his health and has it as a move or something

Something about Joseph's GHA is that you can't block it, or at least not block it like everyone else's. Whenever I get hit by it, I always forget that I can't just block the move, which both irritates me but at the same time makes me appreciate the attention to detail since y'know, Joseph likes to cheat and use trickery.

Joey Jo-Jo Jr. Shabadoo has always been my favourite character in the entire series after he starred as the main character in part 11. Though I know some people were confused by the 3rd universe reset, I found it an interesting change of pace to turn the series into a romantic comedy with weekly kaiju fights, but to each their own I guess.

Fugo’s HHA isn’t my fav in comparison to what they could’ve done but it’s such a good attack to come into or to start off a combo, his GHA on the other hand is one of if not my most favorite Ultimate in all the fighting games I’ve played, with the references, the attack itself and the visuals, you may have not read this but basically a novel named Purple Haze Feedback was written as a side story which talks about Fugo after the events of Part 5, it’s a good read one of the best pieces of jojo media, and the GHA is based off SPOILERS BELOW: His final attack to the main antagonist in the story, not only does it visualize the novel but it also shows us Purple Haze’s upgrade Purple Haze Distortion. My issue with it is that it’s hard to hit and the amount of damage is pretty appalling

This is why Fugo bites on the capsule, he takes such a large amount of it into his mouth that it destroys itself before it can kill him, while letting out a much smaller amount that kills whoever is in front of him.

One thing i like about mariah level 3 is how it slowly proceeds to get more intense as the magnets pick up more stuff and like the monsters in the game to play in a different game like this game for the best of the best and most addictive games I love and love you so i can play with me on my way to the game if I get bored or not trying it out and I just got a lot done so yeah Mmmm I'm just going on the phone and now I just want my money to get the game

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is basically a group of eight semi-separate stories (with a ninth one incoming), so that doesn't help with understanding what is going on. I mean, you start with the story of a feud between a young nobleman and his evil stepbrother in Victorian England; and you end with a story set in modern Japan, about an amnesiac man with a sailor hat and four gonads trying to piece together his old identity and what happened to him. And yes, the balls are actually an important plot point.

i feel like they could’ve still done more with jotaro he didn’t _only_ punch. they could’ve had star finger going through the opponents head or a more accurate “my stand with be the judge” or him stopping time and breaking someone’s legs with a kick and sending them flying like he did with dio. even the steely dan beatdown would’ve been more interesting imo, maybe it could’ve even added the “here’s your receipt” scene if you end the round with it :P jotaro’s like the most popular jojo he shouldn’t feel mid

You missed 2 HHAs, Johnny has 4 supers, he can do 3 different HHAs to slowly build up to Act 4 or use the GHA to skip straight there, his one for pushing to Act 3 is when he hits himself in the head and gives them a "Nothing personal, kid" in the language of nail bullets, then his one for pushing to or while in Act 4 is similar to Part 4 Jotaro's except backwards in which he uses Tusks to give a quick standing barrage before beating them to the ground for another pummeling. Also worth noting, the one that takes him from Act 2 to 3 can only be done when unmounted, while I believe he has to be on Slow Dancer for the Act 4 one.

Actually there's two scenes where Koichi uses other acts I do not know if this is anime exclusive but he used echoes act 1 on the boat when they were looking for Otoishi and in part 5 in the manga exclusive scene Koichi used echoes act 1 to look for Giorno when he ran away for some reason the anime deleted the scene

Part of Fugo's Extra's and his GHA is inspired from a fan-made non-canon light novel called Purple Haze Feedback, it does contradict the story in the anime which is why Araki has not deemed it canon, but he did do the artwork for it and referenced it a ton in the games. in the original All Star Battle there's a full story mission based off the novel where Purple Haze evolves into Purple Haze Distortion and Giorno invites Fugo to join the new Passione after he defeats the narcotics branch of the old Passione. Purple Haze Distortion is also a mode in the game which can be activated when at low health or automatically after using his GHA. His GHA is from the final fight of the novel. You should give it a read, there's a full translation with few typos but you can understand them with context. The novel's only about 1 Volume long and despite not being exactly canon fits with fugo's character so much its worth reading. You won't regret it

I love p4 Jotaro but they really lacked with his supers, honestly what I think they should have done is made the First Super reference when jotaro insulted josuke’s hair where he punches him, and for the Level 3 had it he in reference to the kira beatdown where he grabs their wrist and star platinum is just wailing on them. I think that would have worked so much better then what he has !
