Honestly, Fearless and Debut are super underrated, and it's making me kind of upset. I don't get how lots of people rank them at the bottom of their lists, which I think is so unfair, because A Place in This World, Picture to Burn and Our Song are iconic, (from Debut) and The Way I Loved You, Breathe, And Mr. Perfectly Fine and Fearless (From Fearless) are all perfection.

it's definitely hard to judge people for their rankings because everyone joined the fandom at a different time, so obviously some might have a deeper connection with one album than others might not so I feel you haha even though I joined around speak now/red era I was kinda absent during folklore's release so therefore don't feel as much love towards it so that's why it's low on my ranking haha!

My ranking: 1. 1989 Ever since it was released it has stayed my all time favourite Taylor album. Pop perfection. I could listen to just the instrumentals alone and it would still be at the top lol. 2. reputation Simply an amazing album. I love the energy and vibe. No skips except for New Years Day and that's only because NYD is a mood song since it's slower. 3. Speak Now This entire era is just magical. I can't even explain why I love this album so much. It's nostalgia and so many amazingly well written songs like Dear John, Last Kiss, Long Live, Enchanted. 4. Fearless This is the album that made me a Swiftie. When it came out in 2008 I loved every song and that was when I decided that I was an official Taylor Swift fan lol. It still holds up today and I still love every track. The vault tracks I'm not so fond of and I always skip them. 5. Evermore I'm an Evermore girly. Happiness just sends me to heaven. Such a beautiful song and I prefer more tracks on this album than a do on Folklore. 6. Folklore Folklore simply has more skips than Evermore so it had to go below it. I love them both and they are essentially the same album to me. Both Folklore and Evermore are poetry and are by far Taylor's best work lyrically. They are both in the middle of the ranking because my music taste leans more in the pop direction production wise. 7. Midnights Great concept album. The 3am tracks are the best part. Not Taylor's best work but I still enjoy it. Maroon and Dear Reader are my favourite tracks. 8. Red I loved this album when it came out but listening to it now, there are a lot of skips. It's a very melancholy album and I'm often not in the mood for it. State of Grace, Red, All Too Well, Sad Beautiful Tragic and The Moment I Knew are the songs I listen to on repeat. I love the vault tracks but yeah, I don't really listen to the other songs that much. 9. Lover Sorry, but a lot of songs on this album are just not my vibe and are very bubblegum pop. I Forgot That You Existed, Paper Rings, ME!. The others are kind of middle of the road for me. Not bad, but not amazingly good either. The gems of this album are Miss Americana, False God, Death By a Thousand Cuts, Daylight and Cornelia Street. They are the only songs I truly go back to, the others are kind of meh. I appreciate the album as a whole but it's just not one I can listen to in full. 10. Debut I really like this album and I don't skip any songs if they come on but her other work is just better, which is a given since she's only young when she wrote this one.

here is my ranking 1.reputation one of the best albums of all time. maybe even the best. i love it so much. no skips what so ever. 2.1989 pretty solid. also no skips. shake it off was the first song i heard by taylor, so 1989 will always have a special place in my heart. 3.lover a couple skips, but the non-skips are really good. 4.red state of grace is chef's kiss. that's all i have to say. 5.midnights wouldve. couldve. shouldve. 6.speak now really well written. i just have more of a connection to other albums. 7.evermore i really like this album, i just think she has some that are better. 8.fearless pretty good, she just gets better from here 9.beautiful eyes same thing as fearless 10 .debut really underappreciated. i really like it!!!!! 11.folklore sorry not sorry. it sucks. every song except for august and TLGAD are a skip for me. fav songs. 1.dont blame me 2.new romantics 3.state of grace least fav songs 1.cardigan 2.the archer 3.you are in love bye!!!!!!!!!!!

for me personally, this is my most recent rankings :) 1- folklore. the first songs i listened to like properly, were all from folklore (mirrorball, this is me trying, and my tears ricochet) and i’ve always had cardigan at my top song so it’s just a no brainer for me. i love ALL the song in there 2- evermore. it has similar vibes as folklore, so it suits my music taste even though it’s soo different like i see evermore as adult grief and troubles, whereas folklore is like childhood/teenage depression etc y’all kinda get me? same as folklore, i love all the songs 3- midnights. i got back into taylor around when she released midnights, and i really enjoy it especially you’re on your own kid and snow on the beach are just like 🫶🫶 to me 4- 1989. so many great songs, out of the woods, clean, wildest dreams, you are in love, new romantics, and it’s most of the others are really connected to my childhood memories so :) 5- speak now. again, there are soooo many good songs on there, like it’s just amazing! i don’t have to name them cos i’ll be naming them all 6- lover. i’m not really like a love person, so my favourite ones are the archer, it’s nice to have a friend, false god, i think he knows, death by a thousand cuts, and ma & thp:) it’s an amazing album 7- debut. it’s really underrated which is sad and if i could give it a higher spot, i would. i’m not a very country person but i love the violin and the style she sings in for them. also, tied together with a smile is an absolute masterpiece. and mary’s song, and should’ve said no, and our song, tim mcgraw, invisible agh they’re so good 8- red. i haven’t fully listened to red yet ( i don’t have 2 hrs much) so again i cant really rank it against some of these, but when i can i will. there’s a lot of great songs that i have heard, and they’re connected to my childhood so it’ll probably rise :) 9- reputation. i’ve listened to most of it, but for me it’s not my music taste so i’m putting it here. i really appreciate the album itself, i just don’t really relate to any of the songs so yeah 10- fearless. great album, i appreciate it a lot but again not my music taste. it’s got a lot of great songs but they’re not in my top so sadly i’m putting it here again, these are just my opinions so sorry if u don’t agree

Lover, I’m I love this era and overall this album has so many songs on it that I hear nobody talk about like it’s nice to have a friend is one of the best on lover Midnights( Til Dawn Edition): so glitch and vigilante sh** are so good but added with hits different… some of the best songs. Speak Now (Taylor’s Version): absolutely love this album and the story of us is one of the greatest songs of all time Evermore: so I love evermore so so much but closure just doesn’t cut it for me and I want to put it higher but I can’t Red( Taylor’s Version):it feels like a crime putting it this low but like what the heck girl at home is right behind all too well 10 minute version in my song rankings for this album 1989: I am so so excited for the re-record but some songs on there are good but not the best so I tend to skip it a lot Fearless(Taylor’s Version):so I’ve been listening to it a lot recently and I think I’ll like it more than 1989 but then you have the re-record so I don’t know anymore Debut: I love this album so much but some songs will always be a skip for me but some will never be a skip so it’s good but also some are kinda not

It's tough to rank them, but a lot, in my opinion, has to do with when you first started listening to Taylor, plus obviously your genre preferences since she differs so much there. And then there's the albums themselves, the strength of the songs, if you skip any, its cohesiveness as an album. I started with 1989 a bit, but didn't start doing a deep dive until Folklore. 1. My ranking: 1: Reputation (I love how she talked abt her love life with Joe and the vengeful songs will always be my favs) 2: Lover (I love the Lover aesthetic and mainly Cruel Summer, just iconic obv) 3: Folklore (it was a drastic change to her music genre, but I LOVED it. It was so nice to hear her songs in a more peaceful and lyrical way) 4: 1989 (this was the one where I became a Swiftie and it just screams iconic) 5: Midnights (I felt a few songs in the album weren’t amazing, but the album aesthetic and mostly all of the songs were just so beautiful) 6: Fearless tv (Such iconic songs and I loved her fun, playful and romantic songs throughout the album) 7: Speak Now to-be-tv (I honestly don’t know what to say abt Speak Now, but I love Speak Now! It’s just nostalgic and the album cover is just so nice) 8: Evermore (I feel like this should be higher, but then again, Evermore was ok. It was kind of like folklore tho. I did love Champagne problems) 9: Debut (Just so amazing! I love Debut and listening how Taylor’s vocals have changed, from yeehaw to calm American lmao) 10: Red tv (I feel like I’m going to get hated on this. But Red is kind of boring. Yes. I LOVE ALL TOO WELL and all of the other classics, but her new songs weren’t that good imo. I feel like she made it worse by just adding too many songs into the tv and made it too long and boring) Also, I love your content Whitney!!! @@urlocalfolklorian As a Swiftie of 9 years, Lover is second for me as well and Red is on the lower end. All of them are great albums with fantastic songs. I honestly love Red! There are just some songs that mean more to different people and sound better too. I think Debut is slept on, but I don’t expect everyone to love it. Just because our rankings are different than yours, doesn’t mean we’re invalid as Swifties.

RED TV !!!!! - no words just amazing 2. evermore - love the tonal differences with the lyrical depth of folklore 3. fearless TV - romanticizing youth is everything 4. speak now - just so so good 5. 1989 - i think i LIKE lover more than this, but cohesively and objectively 1989 is just better 6. lover - brings happy memories 7. folklore - i'm so sorry this is low but i think having such a tonally consistent album makes it boring for me? It's always changing, but this is it NOW. 1. folklore. It stole my heart and gave it sad songs and poetry. 2. Reputation. First tour I saw, (on netflix, before they REMOVED IT!!!!) A super slay era. 3. Lover. A beautiful era. Pretty pastels, awesome songs. It got up here bc I realized the entire album was on my TS playlist. Also, spelling is fun! 4. Speak Now. Beautiful music, wardrobe, aesthetic. Speak Now took a massive jump from where it was in 2023 on my ranking, pushing Red and 1989 lower. 5.1989. This amazing album never stays in the usual place. The re-recording is a masterpiece. How'd it get here, tho? 6. Midnights. SLAYYYYYYYYY. 7. Red. Ditto 1989. I adore Red. To me, it's like a warm autumn, while evermore is a cold fall. 8. evermore. DON'T KILL ME, because there will be no body, so no crime. I never really clicked with evermore, but if I place it lower, it will feel illegal. 9. Fearless. CLASSIC. ICONIC. YES. 10 Debut. It's taken time to grow on it. I respect Debut.
