Violent J’s higher pitched vocal technique from the earlier releases is my favorite form of Violent J. Kinda like D-Loc from Kottonmouth Kings. I also agree that Violent J’s Voice change drastically over the years, like James Hetfield from Metallica, and he is just trying to work with it.

No disrespect but I think you're sleeping on Ol Evil Eye. One of the best beats I've ever heard coupled with that super cool Edgar Allan Poe story, and both J and Shaggy's verses are fresh and absolutely on point. I do think Bang Pow Boom isn't respected enough, but I actually really dig Mighty Death Pop. Closest to an old school vibe we've had in a long time. MCL!

From one proudly articulate juggalo to another... Man, I am glad I found your channel. I LOVE Mighty Death Pop though. Love it. One of my favorites. Probably my second favorite joker card. Bang Pow Boom is my 3rd. And I agree that the song Bang Pow Boom is sublime --one of their very best. The Shaggy Show track I love but mostly because I'm a big Gangster Fun fan (they're also friends of mine, we went to high school together). Everything else --I agree with you. And yeah, J's teeth used to be all jacked up. They looked gray. Lol.

The chorus to "Crossing thy bridge" is done by Violent J and Syn from Zig Izland. Syn actually sung this entire song as a blueprint for them to go over with their voices. you can find that version on KZbin. The entire album was produced by Mike P which is the main musician for Zug, which means this album is an ICP Zug Izland album.

I'm here to defend Marvelous Missing Link. It's got some legendary songs: Falling Apart, Found, Time, Juggalo Party, Immortal, The Dream. Using songs from the Lost, Found and The Outtakes you could make a top 3 Joker's Card easily. Seeing as most people can't get past Otis or some of the production and themes, mostly on Lost I think people are missing what this album has to offer. No pun intended but you gotta find YOUR missing link - I promise there is a lot to enjoy on there.

I've heard them all a good amount, and funny enough I made my own MML playlist (my favorite songs from all 3 albums) and there's more songs from the Outtakes than from Lost lol. If my MML playlist was the actual album it'd definitely rank higher. Might make a video about what my ideal MML would look like!

Dope video. It's inspiring me to get back in. I completely stopped paying attention to new releases after TMML:Found came out (which had some bops for sure..Get Clowned and Pineapple Pizza. Actually I don't think I even listened to Lost.), which I think was the last gathering I went to. I want to jump back in but I'm scared of being sad about it. I did the same thing after Hells Pit, with all Psy related stuff, and didn't come back till 2011 and I loved the majority of what I missed in that time. I love The Tempest (iknowitsnotajokerscard). TMDP and BPB are amazing. I have yet to listen to FFF. I am endlessly annoyed that they didn't just retire the Jokers Card shtick and come up with a new gimmick instead of a 'second deck'. Also endlessly annoyed that they couldn't maintain a healthy working relationship with Twiztid (or vice versa whatever I don't know shit). Like god, go to group therapy you guys. There's money on the line. Also hundreds of thousands? of people who still feel worse about the collapse of those relationships than when their parents got divorced. Anyways. I have feelings. I hope you make more videos like this. BYE

Yeah... the Missing Link is pretty tough to get through. Seems like a lot of people love FFF, can't say I do but it is better than TMML. And I was bummed about the Twiztid/ICP beef, but now seeing what MNE is becoming and seeing the consistent quality content Twiztid is putting out I totally get why they had to leave and do their own thing. Most likely ICP isn't going to be able to finish the joker cards (or should I say one of the members), and I have a morbid fantasy the beef then gets squashed and Twiztid then fills in to complete the deck.

Or if it morphed into some Dark Lotus shit at the end with some overarching message of, IDK, homies, forgiveness, whatever. But that's probably too far off script and I don't know how cheesy they would ever get with it. I am wondering what you know that has you thinking one of them might not be able to finish the albums. I am very not in the loop. I am an ICP girl but Twiztid has pretty much always been on a different level than ICP. Makes sense for them to be in control of their own brands. Especially if the sense I've gotten over the years is accurate, that at least one of the clowns is pretty...difficult to work with. @@Kayl3e It seems like since Shaggy's been sober he's remained physically healthy. And in interviews and his podcast he seems mentally all there. I see J's weight fluctuate a lot, he's of course been obese more than a few times, and personally I think he seems pretty out of it in most recent interviews & streams (in terms of memory and keeping up in conversations). Not my place to judge the dude, I hope he's healthy physically and mentally if he's not, but a lot of recent content suggests he's not.

I have been wondering for a few years if the level to which they *seem* 'worn out' can be attributed to age or if they are just burnt out and sick of it all. J having health issues due to his weight struggles would make a lot of sense. I don't think I've ever witnessed anyone else go up and down in weight like he has. I tend to speculate too much lately on stuff that could be going in these peoples personal lives and impacting their mental health, like with past and current relationships and kids. I wish I could wave a wand and make them both 20 years younger so I could do it all again, only better ;_; I've loved them since I was 17 (oOoOoOooo) I'm 34 and Canadian but I didn't get to see them in person until 2010 when I came to the USA to bang a juggalo and go to the gathering then I just...stayed here lol.

I think what hooked me to BangPow Boom so strongly was the fact that it was the album that heralded the return to the Dark Carnival Joker's Cards milieu.
