The r key placement is baffling. If you use it after womb II you guarantee yourself, at a minimum, double digit amounts of items. Red candles puts a flame on the floor. Blue candle puts a blue flame on the floor. Diplopia doubles the items in a single room. R key doubles your items, just flat out.

To mention though: Plan C only kills one stage of a boss now. It doesn't oneshot mother or the beast unless you defeated their first stage 35:25 it happens if you use the book in a room, it isn't a passive after 4 uses 52:28 120 Volt and jacobs ladder also have a much higher arcing distance in wet environments

big fan of the list. only place i disagree is mama mega. a free floor is fucking crazy. if you’re lo on resources, it is a free floor to make you full on resources. if you already have resources, just wait and insta kill the boss and then go pick back up your other active. there is no world imo that golden razor is better than mama. but each to their own

i actually like wavy cap as an item. the tears up can be genuinely insane, and the speed down is not bad at all. the screen effect is pretty cool, i like it, it prevents you from using it too much in a creative way. i do understand people who dislike it, though. it's a fun item, which can be good, but with a big side effect. also it being a secret room item makes it worse.

18:48 you can also use the jar to take red hearts, then go to a super secret room to convert them to other types of hearts. I think this makes the jar pretty useful, especially for characters like blue baby, as you can convert all red hearts on the floor to soul/black hearts. or you just get a bunch of heart containers, also not bad

8:30 I think fear is better than petrification, the reason you might use petrification in the first place is to escape a tough situation where you're surrounded by enemies, so them running away gives you a higher chance of escaping. That combined with 2 charges instead of 3 means it is definitely much better than the bra imo.

Extremely small detail, but I think that portable slot deserves to go up a single tier. The ability to make pickups can be decently strong if you have a d20 and can let you rig a bit. Ive done that in an ultra secret room that had a portable slot and was able to turn it into like 5 items and was able to reroll those items into the ultra secret room pool. Very niche but not useless

3:48 it does 185 damage and also over a large area, another reason why it is better than blood rights is, if you are invincible it won't damage you, so for example you can use it right after getting hit for revenge damage, and use it together with things like the algiz rune for a lot of damage EDIT: I also just thought about that for the lost, or if you find holy mantle otherwise, kamikaze means infinite bombs

Compost is actually decent but it requires certain items to get it rolling. 9 volt, car battery, or passive items that generate spiders or flies. Outside of those scenarios, its very hard to get it rolling.

I personally really love using glass cannon since it really helps out on low dps runs, but I guess most times you do end up getting enough good items to where it drops off and then it becomes a liability. Still love it though

I may be wrong, but I believe the only bosses that have a longer animation than the time Plan C gives you before you die are Mother and Delirium, and I think it only "kills" one phase on bosses who have multiple phases. But hey, at least you can kill The Beast and a couple of other final bosses (tho it is super risky to go for it, but if you have a really shitty endgame build, it can save you)

Metronome is very underrated! Since repentance it can't give you Clicker or Plan c (and also Death Certificate:( ) anymore. Also you keep any health ups and there are so many items now in the game that just give you a soul heart on top of its mediocre effect, that you will usually not even care about the one kamikaze or blood rights trigger. Edens Soul, Damocles, Alabaster Box.. at some point you will be lucky if you use it every time you get the chance That being said the last time I had this item and I wanted to go for bossrush and I used it later on in Depths 2 and got Forget me now making me miss bossrush still hurts my soul

I can see clicker being useful if your marks are inconsistent. Let's say you have done the Polaroid path, Mega Stan, and Delirium on Isaac, and now you're going the Negative path with Isaac. If you kill the Lamb, but still have the key or if the Delirium portal spawns, there is no reason to do that again with Isaac, so you can clicker and get those more out of the way marks covered. I think it deserves a 1 for that

Clicker is good for winning on streaks as something like lost, and to remove bad blind items. Think about picking up a blind item and getting cursed eye. This can then remove cursed eye. Still mostly bad tho.

D7 allow game breaks with 9 volt in big rooms, (and does funny stuff in the mirror world). Pokego can use ipecac (i was thinking of friend finder so i was wrong about ipecac) enemies for out of combat utility, and vis enemies are pretty damn strong.
