You say the ranking is based on your enjoyment of the films. I tried to do one against a checklist of criteria for 'greatness'. I can't have drifted too far off course, I hope

I enjoyed this video very much!! I loved your TLD story (and what a score for Barry to end on). Of the “museum piece” Bonds I’m personally partial to FRWL. I, too, love the skiing Bond. I agree TSWLM is the most “perfect” Bond film (although the end inexplicably drags a bit). I also love FYEO and Thunderball. Your video has inspired me to listen to the MWTGG score this week. In my very limited Instagram posts I once highlighted the YOLT score, which is a Barry classic. Looking forward to watching more of your videos!

I agree with the low ranking for Dr. No. It’s almost sacrilege to not rate the first Bond film higher, but it’s a very low budget, slightly slower paced film and since EON was in process of discovering how to adapt a James Bond story to film I cut them some slack. However, I disagree with your opinion on FRWL. I think it’s deserving of a much higher rating and it’s 100X more interesting and better than DN.
@agentøøasmr Жыл бұрын
Yeah, FRWL has been getting some extra love out there. I actually have a newer appreciation for Dr No since visiting Jamaica and some filming sights recently. While he did inspire the moon landings, it wasn’t until the administration of the 37th President, Richard Nixon that nasa actually went to the moon.
