Ranking MLB's 22 LARGEST Contracts Of All Time

Shohei Ohtani just signed the richest contract in MLB History, like by a lot, and that made me curious about which of the other largest contracts have worked in their teams favor, and which ones should’ve never been signed. Now a lot of these contracts are fairly recent so I will have to predict what the outcome is going to be rather than the current outcome. So in this video I’m going to rank the top contracts with a grade so you’ll know which ones were good and bad #mlbpredictions #baseball
The Major League Baseball offseason has arrived and with names like Shohei Ohtani and Yoshinubo Yamamoto and even Blake Snell being available this free agency is going to be insane. This is actually only the American League version of this video. There will be a National League one coming shortly so like and subscribe for that. These are also not really free agent predictions. However, it is kind of a predictions or best fits video!
The 2023 MLB Playoffs or Postseason is headed to the WORLD SERIES, but instead of looking ahead to those teams, lets look back at some of the teams that have failed along the way, and not just in 2023, lets look back at MLB History to find out which teams are the biggest choking teams in MLB History. Teams like the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers make the postseason almost every season, however, they almost always get eliminated. However the team that had the cheating scandal the Houston Astros, although they may be cheaters, they certainly are good at winning games in the playoffs. However this year the Diamondbacks are in the World Series as they beat Bryce Harper and The Philadelphia Phillies. The Atlanta Braves also missed and they've failed quite a few times too. #mlbpostseason #mlb

I agree with you on the seager contract, it is the Devers contract that really bugs me. This guy is not the great hitter everyone says he is, and defensively I'd rather have most high school 3rd baseman out there. He is aweful! Simply aweful! Fantastic video once again! I'd sign you in a minute to make baseball videos. 30 years / 3 billion dollars.

Grading a contract (like Seager's) that is barely two years old with 8 years left is kinda like cheating. Let's see how it looks in 5 or six years.

i have no other option, I took into account future values in all of these contracts and I think it'll still be an A+ contract by the end of it.

Common sense tells me NOBODY deserves to be payed million of dollars a year to play any sport.

The MLB is an industry worth over 75 billion dollars which brings in multiple billion every year, the players which make that possible do deserve millions of dollars.
