i haven't finished the video yet so you might talk about them but here is a line of dolls just called "zombie girls" by jaks pacific and its one of my favorites there are only 4 dolls and they are so cute and heavily themed, one of them is named 'Rhoda Kill' its just so cute

hell yes, Bratzillaz was really clawsome. I was semi aware of the disdain from the MH fans, but I didn't care, I loved pretty much any doll line that was alternative and had some media behind it. A big reason I'm really attached to this series is because, when I first discovered them, I was going through my NLOG/hipster phase who was only interested in cartoons&doll series, so for me Bratzillaz was essencially the equivalent of those dark teen shows that were popular at the time (i.e. The Vampire Diaries, Pretty Little Liars, Supernatural etc.). It just gave off these 2010s dark series vibes, I can't fully explain it, but I loved it, and it just makes me so nostalgic thinking back on it. I like to imagine that the Bratzillaz media behind the dolls would've been so cool as an animated mystery drama (a bit more watered down than the live action shows, of course), where the characters not only learn stuff about magic&fashion at the academy, but also deal with some suspensful mysteries, such as student dissapearanceas, shady school history events etc.

Not to be rude but i do think pinkie cooper was a stretch-yes they came out in a similier time as monster high but unlike novi stars or bratzillaz they share nothing in common with monster high-not even the designs or aesthetic , none of the canine characters even look like the pinkie cooper girls I mean didnt they get discoutined because they were nothing like monster high? I think its closer to being a bratz or barbie inspired line just with anthro dogs instead of humans

Hi! The reason I put Pinkie Cooper on this list is because of the fact that they were non-human fashion dolls, a category that MH greatly impacted the popularity for, and because their release lined up quite well with the height of the MH hype. As I said in this video I fully believe that some of these lines were conceptualized before MH or outside of it's influence, but from a business standpoint I believe MH proving to be so successful is what finally allowed them to be greenlit. I hope that helps to clear it up a bit! 💖

@@thatponighoul I’m sorry for late reply but I can see where your coming from, I still think it was purely a coicendce as unlike with the other lines..pinkie cooper doesn’t share anything in common with monster high outside of the characters not being human(granted-there was a fashion doll who was also a furry dog whom predates both brands) maybe they did feel confident in relaxing it thanks to monster high like you said but Idk tbh
