Hey everybloody! Let's do some discussion and spookulation about the new Monster High Free Comic Book Day issue!

I think in the Hexicha steam diary Hexicha tries to convince Bloodgood to go with him on an expedition but she declined to stay at Monster High.😊

Yes, that is what happened in their conversation! Bloodgood is very devoted to her school. I'm glad that after Hexiciah is found he is able to reunite with Robecca and her!

ok, I managed to read the comic and I think now I understand that this comic and the upcoming novel are just a different cannon of the g1 universe (g1 really loves to have multiple cannons, lol). Def the novel is an important key info for this comic in order to better understand what is going on. We shall wait and see. I think this new cannon has potential, even if it will be a slightly darker YA toned thing. I do personally enjoy YA, even if it can get kinda trope-y or the writing tends to be mid (I will admit, I kinda have a good tolerance for mediocrity, lol, and I tend to be easily pleased). I def don't agree with some of the fans that t's gonna be as bad as Riverdale, come on, that's just inconceivably ridiculous. Edit: watched further the video, Imo, I don't think a lot of people, including the creators, really know what the "og" cannon of MH g1 is. I think what is considered "og" cannon is kinda subjective. I always considered the "og" cannon to be the webseries and movies. But yeah, seems like the author says the comic cannon seems to be the same as the diaries cannon, and not really the cannon of the webseries, the movies or the other MH g1 novels, like Ghoulfriends. Still intrigued by what will come out. I hope this all made sense, I'm also an aspiring MH theorizer, but I still need to go through a lot of materials, I haven't read all the books yet or the diaries, so a lot of my opinions, theories and observations are incomplete and subject to change. Keep up the great work Poni, I really enjoy your content.

I didn't know they were giving this away! I went to one of the comic book stores with my boyfriend this past week but I didn't see they were giving away monster high! 😭😭😭

Aw! It's possible that store didn't have MH or they were already gone. MH was one of the "silver" titles as opposed to the "gold" ones, meaning that the stores were not required to order any. So it depended from place to place. There are scans up of the comic now though!
