Ranking Monstercat Uncaged Vol.10

I'm willing to go as far as to say this is one of the best Uncaged comps that exists. No Monstercat compilation is perfect, not even 021 or 022, but there are some really good songs in here. Some iconic tracks, emotional bangers, and even really cool experimental stuff. Doing Uncaged Vol.11 is gonna be a mental nightmare but I'm willing to do it lol.

40. I remember liking this 39. This comp got me to listen to this one and tbf I liked it. EMEL does a nice job with the vocals and Stonebank's production is... forgettable but still good. Really nice song overall 38. This is still good! 37. Don't remember this one!!!! But it sounds one I probably liked 36. I don't remember this one either but... doesn't sound that good 35. I remember liking this one 34. I think I liked this one 33. I rember this one and I think I liked it 32. OOOH THIS ONE!!!!! This is one of the songs I have heard a large amount of times outside of the comp. I even forgot it was on there! Really really good tune! But you are 100% correct, it's not a deep or creative song, it's just a mindless fun party-esque tune 31. I remember this one and it's good! 30. I rember this one!!!!!! Good stuff!!!!! 29. OOOH!!! Also one I have come back to multiple times!!!! This one's a certified banger 28. I don't really remember this one... but I remember Crankdat being on the comp 27. I remember this one!!! Also good! 26. OOOOOH!!!!! THIS ONE!!!!! One of my favs from Bossfight!!! And Phillip Strand's fav performance of mine 25. I do not remember this 24. Really good!!!! But I don't remember it being in there either lol 23. I don't remember this one... 22. This rings a bell 21. I remember liking this one 20. This one still goes hard! 19. Same with this one 18. This is a song I still think about after the Stonebank remix came out. Similar to 'Subliminal' by HVDES, the off-drops are great and the vocals really elevate the sound, until the drop... well, drops it. Except 'Subliminal' has moments where the lead is fixed and the sound is remains but it's still a little weaker and quite different, this one just goes downhill and just stays bad in comparison to the previous sections. The lead isn't doing justice to that awesome off-drops with the intriguing lyrics and the fantastic atmosphere 17. I don't like Kage. This one's just ok imo 16. Ah yes, the crew that makes songs with titles that are originally Greek words/names (Αμνησία, Μέδουσα, Αίνιγμα etc.) this time we have Δίλλημα and tbf I did not remember much about this but it sounds good! 15. Ok I loved this one! 14. Sounds like one I'd like 13. This one's great! 12. Forgot about this one. Not a fan 11. Same here... 10. This one remains great! 9. This one's better than the last Kage song but still not that good 8. Hey! It's the final letter of our alphabet! Nice tune 7. I remember liking this 6. Same here 5. This one is good! 4. 40. Eh this is a little boring for hard dance/happy hardcore 39. The other drop slaps so fucking hard. Other than that, this isn’t that bad 38. Absolute aaawweesome Midtempo track here. F.O.O.L is fucking amazing 37. One of Stonebank’s most boring tracks. This drop doesn’t hit as much as his other ones 36. Okay idk about you, but I am in love with this track. The whole thing is just so damn good, but I especially love the first drop 35. Again, idk about you, but this is another great slapper from Nitro Fun 34. Eh, this is a little boring for Slippy, but it’s not that bad. Definitely his worst of 2020 33. Actually some fairly solid dancefloor DnB. Katie’s vocals in this are nice 32. MOOMBAH FUUUCKS. Yeah this is an awesome track 31. Such an epic track. Essenger has insane vocals and Cyazon does crazy on that production. So sad to see him go in 2022 30. Really great electro track. I love the BUM sound at the beginning of the drop 29. We need more shit like this from the nerds. Just an absolutely insane DnB track 28. I havent listened to this in full, but this sounds absolutely amazing 27. Really great DnB. Honestly should’ve been the Halloween release of 2020 26. An amazing dubstep track from start to finish. That 2nd drop is so fucking wild 25. Sullivan King said himself this track changed him. I can see why, this is just soooooooo damn good wow 24. So fucking epic and heavy from Slippy. There’s a reason why he’s one of my favorite artists 23. THE RSXRANKS PROFILE PIC NO WAY. Anyways lmao, good DnB and some good vocals 22. This ones never really attached on to me as much as his other tracks, but it’s still nice 21. One of the coolest tracks from KUURO. They should do more DnB 20. I would say this is one of their most forgettable tracks, but I still like it 19. Mazare is fucking back with the heavy stuff. They HAVE to make at least an ep of heavy tracks 18. One of my favorites from the album. Really great DnB 17. THAT BASSLINE HOLLLYYYYY SHIIITTTTTT. Kage is so crazy man 16. Pixel Terror DnB is actually really cool to listen to. Those vocal chops are good as well. Which this was longer tbh 15. Some craaazy Midtempo. It’s crazy that Justin OH started on Monstercat Silk and now he’s making shit like this 14. My absolute favorite track from F.O.O.L. Such an epic track 13. Again, so nice from Slippy. He’s so damn good 12. Really good DnB here. Monika’s vocals are awesome 11. This track is..... just so beautiful.. wow. I love listening to this so much 10. I used to fucking haaate this track, but it sounds so good 9. I would say this is weak for Kage, but I still love it either way lmao 8. Eh I’ve kinda forgotten about this one. Kinda sounds like a Bittersweet VIP. Also that 2nd drop goes hard 7. I haven’t heard this one in full, but from what I’ve heard, it sounds good 6. MUZZ dubstep sounds really cool actually. It’d be cool if he tries more stuff like this 5. HOLYYYY SHIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTTTT WHAAAAT. That 2nd drop oh my god. TYNAN has made an absolutely NUTTY track 4. Great track to end off “The Promised Land.” Really like this 3. Hell yeah! Another person that likes this a lot 2. Dark Room is another good track from Crankdat, but it’s not my favorite 1. This is like everyone’s #1 lmao. I honestly don’t know why this is everyone’s #1, but I’ll give it a listen lol Edit: Okay so I listened to it, here’s what I have to say: Wow. I can definitely see why this is everyone’s #1. You know why? Because it’s very easy to listen to. Although it’s almost a 7 minute track, I could definitely listen to this regularly, kinda like with Infected Mushroom. MUZZ has some great production on this track. Each section of the song sounds really great. I love that heavier 2nd drop towards the end. I love all of the watery, ocean like sounds he puts all through the track. So yes, I can see why this is everyone’s favorite, but it’s not mine. I do really like this track tho A solid 9/10
