IDK if you'd ever react to it, but I HEAVILY recommend "X-Men: Evolution." I've got my nitpicks about that show, but it still holds up and is on Teen Titans level, imo.

I think I’m just not a fan of the character as a whole BECAUSE he’s so Gene-centric. She tends to become his MAIN focus, which leads me to think he doesn't have much going on outside of his feelings for her. When I think of character growth between seasons, Scott falls a bit lower on the list - especially in comparison to characters like Rogue or Kurt. You're absolutely right, though - he’s arguably one of the best adaptations of the character. In the live-action films- geesh! 👎🏾🙄

@safimusgrove2672 I'm surprised, considering he and Jean don't become a couple until season 3. The live-action films screwed everyone not named "Wolverine." As a big Nightcrawler fan, I wasn't a fan of how he, Toad, and Spyke were written as the "street" kids with how they talked--and how ironically Toad was the only one who pulled it off. Definitely wish they made Storm a teen so she could've got more focus, but I guess they wanted at least one female mentor for the team.

Yeah, I feel you. I love that they included Ororo’s African roots, though, as it more closely aligns with her character in the comics. That, and her skin completion, was downplayed/completely changed (to fit into the narrative of centering more Eurocentric standards) in the live-action films, and I’m saying this as someone who’s a fan of Halle Berry. The live-action films dead-ass botched SEVERAL ✨iconic✨ characters (Rogue, Scott, Kurt, etc.), which is unfortunate because, for a lot of people, those films are their introduction to the X-Men series. Kurt was my guy, though, always cracking jokes and being kinda goofy. Toad was kinda the only “street” kid that *was* a “street” kid.
