Anyone who got their speedy years ago would be CRAZY 🤪 to sell knowing if they ever wanted back we'll have to pay triple the price . 😕 There is a pre-loved market that has excellent condition bags 😁 I follow another community and one of the conversations that happened recently was about people posting pics/ going to meet -ups to share with others what they love Beautiful outfits and accessories they work so hard for or on and having someone discount them not think how much they like/love it And ask if they can sell them their dress or anything at a really good price because they're new to the community and has been following them for months & like all their pics and they have so many dresses, so they can sale one cheaper 🤯 . That conversation really happend more than you would think but the post about it was made to inform people about proper edicate) appreciate , ask where it's from and when they talk about it being for sale private msg 🖤 just saying mostly because some people are mean about it . My favorite is definitely Kelly!! Love Hermes’s simple but elegance style. Second one is a Gucci Bamboo! One of my mum’s favorite bag was a black Gucci bamboo tote bag lil bit bigger than yours and she loved it. I have many good memories of mum carried that bag around 25-30 years ago when i was young. Now my sister is using that bag and the bag still looks so gorgeous. As soon as i saw your bamboo bag i became so emotional and missed my mum so much.

The Rose Sakura Kelly is just gorgeous!! Can't wait for the comparation vid! And Mel, I just wanna say the bags you introduced in this vid are really nice! I'm not a big fan of Ferragamo, but the wicker bag just grab my eyes! I definitely love medium size bag as well and I'm totally into the top handle + shoulder strap combination, it's just perfect for work/hanging out!! Mini bags are cute and beautiful, but they are kinda too small for me haha. Still really nice to own and use them though lol.

Thank you so much for doing this. As you said not everybody is interested in mini bags. I have found that the older I get the more stuff I have to carry around and all the mini bags had to go. When you do the Kelly comparison that you mentioned, could you also include the 32? The 25 is way too small for me but I am very interested to see the difference between the 28 and the 32.

I love the LV croisette in Damier Azur! I got mine back in 2018 and it's still my favorite bag! It holds everything I need, and it's light, just goes with all my outfits!! :)

Regarding the speedy 25... didn't there used to be a Speedy 20, where the zipper actually extended a little ways further on the sides to make it easier to open? Did they discontinue it? I swear I saw somebody walking around with one in empriente and it looked SO gorgeous, in leather it's like a little doctor bag. That size would be less bulky by the perfect amount. I have a Coach version in black leather with silver and I love how doctor-y it looks, which is weird maybe? XD

As much as I love the aesthetic of the Ferragamo bags, I went to school in Florence with the children of the family and met the parents who are the current owners of the company... They are, in my opinion very offensive people, almost racist, very snobbish people. I would not support them... However if you really love the aesthetic maybe consider pre-loved... Just saying... One thing I learned about myself this week is I am a top handle bag kinda gal too (this was when I panic shopped for my 2nd Chanel classic flap due to price increase and had to return!). I love my classic flaps still but definitely do gravitate towards a bag that has more options. I do have a really old small mini peekaboo my sister gave me (it's the one that has the defender cover on it). I still love my capucines but it's officially in the "mini bag collection" as the brand calls it a BB, even though it really isn't a "mini" bag, I had to define it someway to set some parameters. Unfortunately our sale-obsessed economy has greatly changed the way consumers shop, how items are priced, and the overall quality that we're willing to accept. Brands like Manolo price items higher knowing some will be bought full price and some will go on sale. We're often willing to accept defects since the item was purchased on sale, but it wasn't that long ago that Manolos cost 300-400 US dollars full price. It's true, once a brand starts putting items on sale, it completely changes the way I see the value of that item and I tend to wait for the sale.
