I think the reason why Kagaya was not the favorite sibling is because in the heart clan, the leader is the first human child of the royal family. Meaning this child can be given the clan talent snow leopard. Since Kagaya was born with a talent it meant that he was immediately discarded since he was never gonna be the clan leader even though he's older

@@skullknight4579 It’s a very low possibility, as it seems Malhazar was the only the only one to ever resist. That’s why it was taken from him cause it’s mostly inevitable that he’d succumb to Thanatos’ will. Che does believe that since Leo was a parent in his life that version of him wouldn’t have existed so it’s a bit of a guess, but I’d still say no
