I liked all of his lists except the arm strength one. Allen has the strongest arm. Stafford is 2nd and Herbert is 3rd. Burrow should be number 1 in ball placement, accuracy and mechanics and pocket prescence and manipulation. If you are try to teach a young man how to play QB and what it’s supposed to look like there are 3 QBs that you should make him watch. Tom Brady, Payton Manning, and Joe Burrow. But Burrow is a better scrambler than Brady and Manning so I would have them model there game after Joe Burrow. Maybe Aron Rodgers early stuff.

And saying that Stroud should be above Burrow on ball placement is silly too. We have 4 years of Burrows tape. We have 16 games of CJ Strounds tape. Before I put him number 1 on any list anywhere he has to have another successful season. I personally think he and the Texans are going to regress along with the Ravens and Browns. I believe this year is going to be the Joe Burrow year. The first of many. All all that jazz about CJ Stroud having the best rookie season we have ever seen is nonsense. Maybe the best that person has ever seen but I’ve seen rookie years that were better than his. Like Justin Herbert’s for instance. Their rookie years can easily be compared because they both only played 15 games their rookie years. Herbert was better. Strouds rookie year was very comparable to Baker Mayfields and Mac Jones. They all 3 look very similar. Their numbers all 3 look very similar. And when Burrow got hurt his rookie year he was on pace for 4300 yards 25 tds and 8 interceptions with a 67% completion percentage. That would have been better than Stroud too. And Stroud has the benifit of being on a good team. Burrow was not on a good team that first year. They had the 31st rated offensive line. Stroud has a Pro Bowl/All Pro Left tackle one of the best pass protectors in football. Burrow did not have that. Also the Bengals should have beaten the Texans last year. If Tyler Boyd hadn’t dropped the game winning td the Bengals win that game and are in the playoffs.

@JohnOMalley-c6s2 ай бұрын
What are you talking about idiot it don't matter if he's a great processor or no I've seen dude beat Josh Allen in OT and Pat Mahomes on the road that's enough for me to put him in the elite category. Stop talking about the weapons we've seen these weapons with Minshew and Mariota and still couldn't get the sane production you get outta Hurts. Clearly you don't watch the tape because Jalen makes his team around him better. Don't forget Jalen is in his 4th year as a starter too with his 3rd OC. Do you forget that? His play calling was some of the worst I ever seen. Jalen Hurts literally carries the Eagles. To some people AJ ain't even a Top 5 WR and Devonta Smith ain't Top 10 (according to most people) people even think Saquan ain't even that good so what are you talking about weapons? Why did everybody agree that Caleb should be the #1 pick? We haven’t seen any of the QBs yet, we shouldn’t make any assumptions. Just flip a coin, they’re all rookies, doesn’t matter who because they haven’t played. I don’t understand why old heads are so adamantly against giving rookies any level of praise when we have tape and measurables to make judgements on them. Obviously we don’t know 100% for sure, but saying that Jayden Daniels can’t be a top 10 rushing QB before he’s played a snap is just stupid, or that Caleb doesn’t definitely have well refined improvisation.

I’m a Chiefs fan, born in KC, and it’s not a diss to say he isn’t the absolute best at literally every aspect of QB just because he’s the best overall. That’s like saying it’s disrespectful to say that Tyreek Hill isn’t the best route runner in the NFL. Even if he is the best overall receiver, he’s absolutely not the best at several traits of receivers, like routine running, contested catch, etc. Mahomes is the best QB in the NFL. He is not the best at literally every aspect of playing QB.
