I like Ultimate Alliance a bit more because it's more like an arcade brawler. Both games are great, but Ultimate Alliance is more fun with multiplayer since you don't have to fiddle around with character builds

I miss this era of games. So many games featuring characters i loved. Sure there were some stinkers but when you found a marvel game made by devs just as passionate as you about these characters you were for a great time. I loved learning about the marvel universe in games like xmen legends or MUA through its trivia games. Ive not felt that well connected to the marvel universe since but with games like Marvel midnight suns and other games coming out in the future i hope we return to this era soon :3

The only ones I would revert are X-men legends 1 with X-men legends 2 as I found the first game more original and less repetitive, but also had better locations. That aside, it’s impressive how nice Marvel games were during the ps2 era.

The Punisher is awesome too, Hulk Ultimate Destruction is the Best Hulk Game, and Ghost Rider is a pretty good DMC clone. Marvel Nemesis kinda sucks but it shouldn't be forgotten. And I guess The Ultimate Alliance games, as well as Spider man 3, Web of Shadows, Friend or Foe among others weren't included as the main versions were the next gen versions.

People mentioning Marvel Alliance.. ok.. Have you ever had Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Inperfects? There has never been another again. Incredible game through and through. And funny as hell. Spider-Man 2 as well, the first real open world game. If you guys haven't played Marvel Nemesis, I highly recommend it. It's on Gamecube, PS2, XBOX, and the PSP version has some slightly different content and different menus, and costumes, but plays the same. DS version is shitty but doesn't look that bad for a tiny game.
