Personally, I find helping others on an assignment when they need (except if it’s to cheat on an exam) is a really good way to study something. It forces me to actively recall knowledge like blurting, but instead of a piece of paper, you have an entire person to blurt on. Maybe this is partly why I select my friends and potential lovers by academic ability.

I do a combination of like 3. I write my notes in a book, highlight the ones I feel like I don't really understand the most, rewrite the notes, not blurting still looking at the source, and then I blurt. Works pretty well. I have a small notebook for blurting, I legit just sometimes, on the way to school, rewrite the things I don't know a million times so that even if I don't fully understand by the end of it, I at least have the information printed in my brain

Personally, my favorite study technique is to take a quick seminar, to my classmates, best friends or even parents! It helps me to recollect everything in order to share the information I have in my head. I live in India, where it's really common to take a seminar or presentation on-spot. The teacher would have just taught you a lesson, and he or she would only give 2 minutes to prepare ALL the topics in that lesson, and she'd call you one-by-one to teach a particular topic. This also forces you to pay attention to class!

You know the way of blurting is not that much good for college as college have semesters and the syllabus is too much. In my country , You get like 4 months or if you're lucky and you're country have longer semester then 5 months. The amount of topics taught in one day at college and then blurting them at home is really hard. It would require like 2 hours for a subject to blurt if you're good in studies and can take more. Blurting is more good for kids in elementary or junior high school students

My favorite way to study is helping my friends. I make short and concise summaries of yhe subjects so that even if my friends have a brain aneurysm all of a sudden, they can still understand it. I do this in word by also using things like color for key words and pictures. By making a summary like this I can share it with others interested and help myself understand it WAY better. Because before you try to dumb it down, you need to understand it fully. In my experience writing it down is better than explaining it in person. Because you really need to think about what you write down and make it so simple that you can't read it wrong.

Highlighting only really helps with doing essays to remember info but bullet point notes saves space and keeps notes simple but if your struggling with vocab word notes (definitions synonyms etc) can help but making lists of vocab has always helped me with using vocabulary but reviewing flashcards can sometimes help but sometimes you might not have the time but I think creating problems based of the lessons along with some solution notes has been my favorite way to help and study but it all depends on if you like visual or mind solving but it only matters what is best for your time and knowledge
