Cheetos aren’t chips. Chips are flat in one geometrical plane and elongated in another geometrical plane. A Doritos bag says “tortilla chips” on it. A Fritos bag says “corn chips” on it. A Lay’s bag says “potato chips” on it. A Cheetos bag says “cheese flavored snacks” on it. It doesn’t say “chip.”

I live in Canada, and while we do have amazing other chips like ketchup, dill pickle, roast chicken, fries and gravy, just to name a few we don't have ruffles cheddar and sour cream. Thankfully I'm less than an hour from the border, and make routine trips across for groceries. Ruffles cheddar and sour cream are an absolute staple on my list.
