Marine and World Govement have been very often opposite existences. The Yonko at end of the day are simila,powerful pirates that control the sea. Marine ans World Gvt have standed for opposire goals at many times in the story ,mainlt through characters like Smoker.Their goal and meaning in the story are very different tldr; marine's and world goverment's narrative and role in the world building are very different

Hakokoro I agree, somewhat. Marines sometimes act on their own. For example, the Swords acting separate from the WG. But Yonko also acts on their own yeah they are all powerful pirates but their ideology is different from one another like how the Marines and the WG have different ideologies.

For my favorites: 5. Revolutionaries: Just haven’t seen enough of them. 4. Supernovas: Excluding the SHs, I like them, especially Law, but they’ve been somewhat underwhelming to me so far. 3. Warlords: Doffy is the GOAT, Crocodile is amazing but I’d like to see more from some of them such as Mihawk, Kuma, Weevil, and Boa. 2. Yonko: All of them have had amazing moments and they bring so much hype. 1. Marines: enhance the story in every way, really love the dynamic they have with pirates in general.

Even if you scale the admiral around Yonko level that leaves the 12 (or more) top tier commander without any equal. We know there is no vice admiral that can take on a third commander and above character (expect maybe Garp). It's a wash the marines be destroyed.

The only real threats in that crew were Old WB who was basically a walking corpse at that point and still had to be nerfed with stabs and heart attacks. Then Marco, Jozu and Vista. I'd say the Impel Down escapees, if they count as a factoon. Their alliance was so unexpected and so random. And when they arrived in the middle of a war, the hype given by the reactions of the marines and the warlods was high af. Led by Strawhat Luffy, the son of Dragon, and Buggy, a former member of the legendary Roger Pirates, with 2 former warlords in the persons of Crocodile and Jinbei, and a high ranking revolutionary in the person of Ivankov.

My list narrative and strength wise, 1.The Marines, 2. Yonko, 3.Shihibukai , 4. Revolutionary Army 5. 5.Supernovas. Supernovas have the presence to be a threat but most of them gets bodied by strong people in the verse. 4.The Revolutionaries presence his well known around the world. They scare the Marines by information they have that can shake the world to their core but can be bodied by overwhelming powers by Yonko or Maine Admirals as far as I know, potentially.

Supernova I put Yonko over marines cuz Whitebeard is the best Yonko so far, and his forces were formidable enough to challenge the World Government. Don't think any current Yonko can do as good as WB did. Also, they start from 0 and managed to gather a great force enough to be considered emperors. One Piece was originally made as a story of Luffy travelling the world and beating the greatest pirates (Yonko), so I guess that says it all.

The top 2 are Shichibukai and Yonko because of 956 and 957. The sheer impact of their existence is incredibly entertaining, and both of them have done so much, with the Yonko carrying the bulk of the new world story, along with Doffy and Law, and the Shichibukai carrying the first half of the story, along with the Straw Hats.

Elba giants. An individual strong character like luffy or the admirals can take out a single giant easily but any of them would be overwhelmed by an army of giants. The world government set free some high profile giant pirates out of fear of war against the giants of elbaf. Even though they were willing to go to war against the crew of the man they believed to be the strongest in the world. Plus, an army of fodder giants wrecks an army of fodder humans, or any other species.

When talking about the strength of Admirals and Yonkos I always get triggered when people say one Admirals must be stronger or at least equally as strong as one Yonko because there are 3 (4 with Fleet Admiral) and 4 Yonkos and they’re said to be "equal". What these people don’t understand is that the Admirals operate as a unit, as allies. They’re a package deal. If a Yonko appears to attack Marineford they’ll definitely have 2, 3 or even 4 Admirals to fight them off. The Yonkos are 4 separate entities, they usually don’t ally themselves and attack one target together. So yes, the Admirals would probably win against one Yonko but that’s because they are multiple people. Look at Whitebeard, he was fighting against 3 Admirals as well and he was sick. Yes he lost but he still put up a very good fight while being sick and fighting against 3 Admirals separately.

Agreed. If you look back at the fight whitebeard was carrying HARD. He was going up against almost everyone at the same time. Even the few big enemies that were being distracted by commanders and what not still tried to attack whitebeard in some kind of way. The admirals individually performed better against whitebeard than vice versa. Even if you want to consider him the weakest of the current yonko because of his sickness, a yonko is a yonko. Individually, Admirals and Yonko are on the same level of strength, unless you ignore the many statements and feats in not only Marineford, but throughout the story as a whole

I know no one really talks about these guys, (heck even I forgot about them) but I think one faction that would bereally nice to introduce are pirate hunters or bounty hunters. Not like Warlords, but actual people who do it for a living like in whisky peak. It would bring a differnt dynamic to the story (though it may be too late) that we haven't really explored. It would also be dope if there was like "most dangerous bounty hunter title"

3.Shishibukai, amazing presence in pre-time skip. Post-Time skip enhance hit and now have world going crazy because of Doffy defeat, however The Marines are still a force to be reckon with and it's scary that we never saw Vegapunk and the man is known to be genius who would copy's of Kuma and knows about the secret of the devil fruits. 2.Yonkos, Whitebeard made an impression and it still holds up to show frighting the Yonkos can be and show why the World Government cant just take them down like any other pirates. Their presence rivals The Marine and over power them. The Wano arc is making look good and bad at the same time, If you are up to date to the story, you know what I mean. 1.The Marines/World Government, we got Vice-Adrmials, Admirals, CP 9-0, VegaPunk, The Gorosei, and even Imuu. If you are keeping with the story, then you should know what it is. Don't sleep on the World Government.

I always remember what Pekoms said to Luffy. Big Mom can send an assassin to kill whoever she wants dead no matter WHERE they are. "Now that's true power" 4. Supernovas- Can't put them any higher because "to me" the only one to make a HUGE name for themselves is Luffy. Luffy is the closest to getting the One Piece than any other supernova. I do like the supernova and I think they are underrated. However, I feel that Luffy is the only one that made big progress and accomplishments. This is mainly because Luffy has the Strawhat Grand Fleet and he has a former Warlord under his command. No other supernova can say that. 5. Revolutionary- Same reasons

If best meant the most meaningful impact to the main story (so far), it would be the warlords. Think of all the arcs that were directly or indirectly caused by the warlord system. Barate, Arlong Park, Alabasta Saga, Blackbeard capturing Ace, Thriller Bark, Sabaody, Impel Down, Marineford, Fishman Island, Punk Hazard, Dressrosa. They've had a huge impact on every arc except the three most recent, Enis Lobby, Logue town, and romance dawn.

The Underworld - It just does exactly what it should be ambiguous. 2.Yonko - Cause they literally are just the strongest pirates that try there best to-do as they please without rocking the boat to get in the way of that. 3. WG- I feel like they fill they're role. 4. Warlords - They're fourth cause they fill the role they were given ok, but due to they're power it gives them a boost above the Worst Generation. 5. Worst Generation - Though they don't have great power their place in the story is being fullfilled adequately. 6. The Revolutionaries - Though they don't do much they seem to stay in line with everything they do is just for the cause. So they complete they're role they're just not as prominent as I think they should be cause most Pirates like the Yonko should be on there list as they are around as bad as some Celestial Dragons look at Big Mom, Teach and Kaido.

1. Warlords 2. Marines 3. The Yonko 4. Supernovas In regards to their contribution to making the story move forward I definitely think that the Warlords are at the top. Keep in mind that the Warlords faction has the strongest swordsman who motivated and the trained Zoro plus Law who, at the time of proposing the take down of Kaido to Luffy, was still a Warlord despite previously being a Supernova. All of that still excludes contribution la from Croc, Moria, Boa, Jimbei and Dofy. In response to Brago, I think the Yonko, if they team up as he mentioned, would have a 60% chance of completely destroying the Marines. Remember that the Marines implemented the Warlord system to balance this and without it they are weakened a bit. Though the thought of all 4 Yonkos teaming sounds like something that would never happen and even if it did I think the Marines would be counting on the Supernovas to distract the Yonko for a bit while they prepare themselves, because I do believe the Marines have something up their sleeves (some kind of plan or weapon) that justifies abolishing the Warlord system. I hope I'm not the only one that sees this as a possibility 😅.

I personally think akainu is awesome, he may seem bad at first but he gives off the vibes as someone who will deliver justice even if he has to go against the marines, he just has to see and experience the truth first for this to happen (who knows he may ally with fluffy).

For me its 1. Marines/World Government 2. Yonko 3. Warlords 4. Supernovas 5. Revolutionary Army I think by the end of the series Revs will be my #1 and the marines and world government will be split into 2 different factions since there's been some set up for a potential conflict between them. If I had to predict I'd say my ranking later on will be 1. Revs 2. Marines 3. WG 4. Yonko 5. Supernovas 6. Warlords (the system doesn't exist anymore but you get what I mean)

At the end of the day, I expect us to get to know kaido, Blackbeard and shanks,and maybe a lil more content on Lilin, so I'd say yonko might be the most interesting eos. For me it goes: 1-Shichibukai (just amazing in all aspects, GREAT for the story, especially pre-time skip 2-Marines(admirals are great, love details like koby, garps amazing n I fell we'll get even more of him and this faction contributes a lot for world building n politics. 3-Yonko (we gotta see more about them, not power wise but pschologically, and once we get to know shanks and kaido, if they're half as amazing as Whitebeard the yonko go up to 1st faction) 4-Supernova (their all interesting and mostly greatly designed, but we gotta now them more, outside of Capone and Law we don't know shit bout em) 5-Revolutionary army(just too little so far)

Just random thought when Marine had Warlords, it's like they having their own Emperor under their name. Mihawk being the Emperor, and rest of Warlords are his Commanders.

Neither the supernovas nor yonko are "factions". They aren't organized groups that work together. They are simply titles given to independent pirates that have achieved certain feats. It's completely different from the navy or revolutionaries, which are organized groups that work toward a common goal.

I think the yonko and the revolutionaries have it the hardest. While the government tries to stop Pirates yes, but i don’t think their main goal is that. Since dragon and the yonko pose the most threat, most of their resources go to that. For dragon it’s very hard to move in a world where everyone wants your head. And for the yonko it’s the same. Plus they have to fight each other on top of all the government people chasing them. I think it’s just harder for them which is why they’ve been at a stalemate for so long

1)shishibukai- they basically are the crux of pretime skip and pushed the straw hats/story further than any other group have. Mihawk-presenting Zoro’s ambition and giving a small glimpse of wider world of op Crocodile- he controlled alabasta with out something like parasite and you could see his ambitions We’re just as large as luffy’s like he was a real “rival” Boa- literary restored my faith in the prospect of strong women in One piece not just her but seeing An entire nation of strong women it’s something I appreciated. Also I enjoy boas gag and the additional insight to the celestial dragons. Kuma- “nothing happened ” is great but luffy losing the crew to me is the greatest moment in the story. Yeah luffy has struggled with enemies before but he relatively just wins because you know he’ll win (not saying because of plot armor). I remember I was binging the show and there was like 200+ episodes from that point but I legit that the story was over and they had all died 😭. Then you find out he saved them and protected the ship...bruh. 2) supernova-Law, Luffy, and zoro alone carry this for me the other ok to good to me. 3)marines- the most organized group 4) yonko haven’t really done much of anything... 5)revolutionaries-I legit forget the revolutionary are a thing in the story sometimes😂

Yet you think that all four Yonko would lose to them??? That’s not even mentioning the Yonko’s territories and crews.. I think your personal love for Akainu lol and the marines is making you overlook the reason the Yonkos aren’t ever challenged by them regularly. Shanks Crew alone is crazy hyped for good reason and stopped both Kaido and the war...
