Exalted Truth is the underdog king! If you get Killing Wind , Encore procted (one kill), it's a triple 100 stat handcannon (100 range, stability, and handling!) Not to mention it also has kill clip in the second column, making it extremely easy to make follow up kills. it's so beautiful.

Thorn is not just the best HC but maybe the best primary for worm lock. Thorn used to send 2 perched worms for every shot where every other HC is sending 1. Now it sends 4… peaking once can end people, you can shotty melee some resil with a single perched if you head shot, it’s strong when aggressive but also so good and mean if everything works when you play more slow and peak shot around a corner.

Great list, Hawkmoon is my favorite 140 with rose a close second with the enhanced movement speed and EP. I have the Austroraptor ornament and it's great for visibilty. It cuts down the wings on the side of the sight. I have a god roll Luna's with slide/PI and max range/ricochet, but I hate the damn recoil pattern on it. Maybe I should try to get used to it. I have the same roll on Rose as you with 70 range and slideshot/EP. It took forever to get that roll and it's the only god roll I have of it with Slideshot. I couldn't believe it when I got it from Shaxx, 99% of them I focused last season had crap range.

As a pve main, I love using the kept confidence in pvp. I run it with killing wind and eye of the storm and it is one of the best feeling hand cannons for me.

Killing Wind on pali is actually good. It's by no means the most competitive perk, but I do think it's a very viable option for 6v6. It's a wonderful experience when you proc it. The pain in the ass for pali rn is having no decent choice for the second column. I do hope bungie brings it back and adds some new perks to it.

I got lucky enough to get a shiny 5/5 godroll Luna's. I wanna love it so bad, but there's just something funky about how it shoots as a 140. It doesn't feel like a 140 at all too. MNK player btw.

Been searching for weeks for someone to do a handcannon tier list. Been even focused on searching for “enhanced rose” videos. Rose is now just a monster. I run void titan and use an elemental capacitor rangefinder roll. With polymer grip it his massive stats. 73 range 72 stability 77 handling. It feels nearly as snappy as a snapshot roll but with extra zoom. Hits 35 meters with full damage using DARCI to confirm. I did a test with explosive payload and because of the damage split in the sandbox to correct it not 3-tapping last season, it experiences damage fall off sooner than a roll without explosive payload. I posted a video on my channel (not a self plug).

I think Luna's is less popular on MnK because you need to micro-adjust your aim a little bit during fights and the perfect vertical recoil of the weapon covers the target sometimes

Yeah they’re kinda hard to rank because they’re like their own thing. I’d say last word is pretty high tier on controller. Sunshot is pretty high tier on mnk but not controller. Crimson I’d say is probably around B tier I’ve heard it’s better on controller tho

Austringer will always be the number one HC imo. Enhanced Zen Moment with EOTS is a crazy dueling roll on both inputs. Even Ace and payload HCs can't flinch it

I am still a Dire Promise main, I literally never switch from it and it costs me a lot of pain. It's just not good enough, yet it always makes me feel like thats my fault. If gaslighting was a weapon, it would be dire promise

it is precision frame on Luna's precision frames feel amazing on controller. head shots feel so free. Doesn't really matter for M+K.

what was the explosive payload nerf? couldnt find anything relevant on it when i looked it up Also putting nation of beasts and kept confidence (or any weapon save for maybe lumina or better devils) under shit rations is insane to me. Id probably use cantata over spare rations. you rightfully put other guns down for not havnig great range but then put Spare "36 range" Rations in A tier. kept confidence has higher range than austringer, max handling, high AE and higher AA. Nation of beasts hits 82 with hammerforged. Maybe this is a MnK vs controller thing but they definitely dont belong under most of the A tier guns. Eyasluna fell off so hard after rangefinder nerf and palindrome has no good perk on it. Agree with the other tiers except maybe lunas howl because it has balls range, glorified killclip and covers your target when you shoot

They reduced the flinch it causes as well as how the range works because of the precision damage change. Basically your weapon used to have its range INCREASED by explosive payload, but now it is actually DECREASED with it

They are in completely different worlds. Quickdraw maxes handling so that's a non factor and kept confidence has more stability. Saying I'm coping while defending spare rations in current year is wild

I honestly can’t put fatebringer below palindrome. EP with EOTS makes fatebringer so much better. I still feel that EP is an amazing perk. I used to think EP was trash when it got the damage nerf but now after using it I realize it’s not a big difference than normal damage. I’d put fatebringer at top of A-mid/bottom of S.

I didn’t forget but it excluded because it’s 150. I’d say on mnk it’s pretty high tier maybe A tier based on what I’ve seen but I dont play mnk so I couldn’t say exactly how high it could go but it is decent. For controller it’s pretty mid to low tier it just has too low of AA

@@Awake_wl i use it on controller and i currently have 4K crucible kills with it, i love it with its insane stats and the flinch can be really nice too, i 100% understand why ppl dislike using it tho with its super weird recoil pattern but i got used to it and its a dueling monster, only thing it lacks is range but still an amazing handcannon, also it being a 150 is just a nice cherry on top for the ttk

It probably depends on input they’re pretty close, Pali has more aim assist and stability so I think it feels better on controller but I will say they are pretty close now

Zen moment does need to roll on more handcannons, it's legit a game changer for controller players. Austringer got me hooked on hand cannons because I crutch that perk. Hell the only reason I like my max range better devils is because zen carries it.

The wallah not liking austringer thing is a mnk thing. Its shoots similarly to a 180 but not like a 180 if that makes sense? Idk to me its the only 140 that doesn't have the recoil to the sky like most 140s. Its also why he doesn't like using lunas as well but thats basically a 180. I mean visual recoil matters for some people its why i could never use ace it just feels like it goes to the sky. And its muzzle flash annoys me hawk is just the better one to me sonce it came out
