As a gamer that got lasik I recommend waiting till you have a long break or done gaming because in my experience although I can see better in my day to day life, my eyes slowed down at being able to focus on screens for quite awhile and I honestly feel two years later that I could see in game better with glasses.

I had laysik done around 15 years ago. It takes longer to prep your eye for the surgery (5min) than it takes for the actual laser procedure. (25-30 sec). 20/20 vision. Pretty awesome!

@3:00 that is exactly correct, that's what Seth will see without glasses on, a glasses prescription basically corrects your vision back to 0.00 or as close as possible to plano (clear vision) its also very blurry to anyone else as their eyes wouldn't have adjusted to Seth's prescription, Seth is also correct about the angle your eyes sit at (Axis - in prescription terms) which is also something that is corrected through prescription glasses

When MBoze put on scumps glasses he observed an affect called Induced prism. When you aren’t looking through the optical center of the glasses, the way the lenses are made can distort the image, pushing it in or out depending on who has the larger head. To calculate this , multiply the amount of decentration in cm by the power of the prescription. Good on scump for recognizing this!!!

I had all my teeth pulled and the pain wasnt bad just lasting. it was more annoying then anything. i also woke up during my surgey and tried fight the doc.

Just sayin' - I had my teeth removed and replaced with 28 porcelain crowns, drills, implants and all. They most definitely do NOT "put you under". I was awake holding my mouth open 9am - 3pm for 2 days pretty much. Couldn't feel a thing throughout and was fully awake. Pain kicked in on the "drill zones" after the painkillers wore off. Few weeks of discomfort and boom... my perfect smile 😁 Would recommend ✌️

I’m not an optometrist, but I do have a - 3.75 prescription on contacts and - 3.25 glasses. Without either, I can’t see clearly past about 6 inches in front of my eyes, 8 inches can still make out shapes. But at a foot nothing small is distinguishable besides color.

I’ve had lasik, while it felt like absolute torture at the time as one eye kept closing as they put the compressor on, I had it on the Friday, was back at work on the Monday with a bloodshot eye. My vision was nearly perfect the next day tbh

Lasik is a major risk. The success rate isnt as great as theyd like you think. Lots of issues and complications. WhistlinDiesel posted a video about his experience. Ive got two family members that had similar issues.
