My best legends in apex legends season 21 ranked come down to a few things but it really does depend on the entire team composition. Revenant is god-tier in lower lobbies. When people struggle to get through 200 health missing 60% of their shots, getting through 275 becomes an utter nightmare. You can basically pop his ult and push every time and it will never backfire.

​@@JustinPullin New Rev: Tactical gives him pounce that acts somewhat like a slide on Octane Jump pad, going very far horizontally and not so far vertically. You can charge it to go farther, and you cannot use weapons until you land. Sliding after the tac gives you insane momentum. Ult: grants you a barrier that has 75hp, which either regenerates after knocking an opponent or after not taking damage for a short while. The ultimate duration is extended after each knock as well, similar to Bloodhounds ult. His passive remains the same, but he can also scan care packages for Evo points as part of the skirmisher class You want to play Rev as an entry Fragger or a off angle pressure, as he should win all 1v1s due to his increased HP in ult and can get out with tac if their team comes to you, he can take high ground at a different angle from your team if you're poking from a distance. Just remember his hitbox is massive, so you will get beamed if you try to push any teams that are very close together (in a room for example)

Ive noticed with revs in lower tier lobbies tend to overextend fully reliant in his ukt even if they are pushing someone who has cover they can play around, cant even count the amount of times ive killed a 300 hp rev and only took like 80 dmg max because they just ult then tac themselves into the open😭😭

i was surprised that they didn't add that as a perk. I think they should add that as a purple perk, but they also need to make the portal more consistent. It's really hard to place the portal where you want it in some terrains, so it takes longer to place it. If they make it easier to place it where you want, it'll definitely help. But yeah the distance is way too short. Unless you are trying to get height, i don't recommend using the portal on ground level, you'll portal like 20 meters, so it's useless when you're trying to place it on the ground lol.

I just switched from Bangalore to ballistic and I just really enjoy his kit, especially for ranked. His passive allows you to carry three weapons, you can have one for all three ranges, long, medium and close. Meaning you have the ability to maximize damage at each range His tactical isn't the best but it is very useful for creating moments in fights where you have the upper hand, a homing bullet is 20 free damage and those hit by it risk taking an additional 30 damage His ultimate is the best part of his kit. But not because it enhances him, but his teammates as well. If movement during gun fights the additional gun speed is very useful for everyone to get that extra viability in gun fights, potentially turning a wattson into an entry fragger. In addition his sling is now viable even if drop, it doesn't matter what gun you pick up off drop, put it in your sling and you have a fully gray kitted weapon Finally his ultimate turns his sling weapon and gives it the best attachments, making anyone's favorite gun, easier to have fully kitted. Also it is only like a two minute cooldown and extends duration 5 seconds each knock. Pairing his ultimate with a movement legend enhances their ability You can also use his Ultimate defensively. I just see a situation in which every one of his abilities are useful

I just switched from Newcastle to Ballistic and I agree with you. He allows me to play faster and more aggressivel. The potential 50 damage enemies take from the tac is great and really gives you more confidence going into a 1v1. His ultimate I think gets overshadowed as a selfish ultimate but it really is a nice team ult. His passive could use some work but I do like being able to cover every aspect of the fight (close,medium,range) it makes him very flexible.

I switched from Mad Maggie to ballistic, was a Maggie main since she came out and though her perks are good they don't fix what was wrong with her, her abilities are amazing when they work. That's the thing though, the drill is super inconsistent, the ball stuns teammates as well as yourself and has horrible hit detection, sometimes it bounces off of doors right back into my face. Ballistic is just overall better and I don't see how someone as experienced as Tim overlooks it but to each their own. I've had multiple 17-18 kill games on different Legends, got 21 on ballistic in under 500 kills... I think you just need to find the legend that supports your play style. That's the true tier list

😂 You're hurting your team using any assault legend besides Bangalore. Bangalore can get you a reset, allow you to play in the open, get people off high ground, etc.

@@Velly2g 1. Do you know how many times I've lost a game because of a bad Bangalore smoke? It's a double-edged sword.. (Not saying shes a bad legend, obviously) 2. How exactly does stunning two opponents, not allow you to reset? Do you not understand the value in controlling the speed of a fight? And giving your teammates better movement speed for strafing in gunfights and faster reload speed is hurting my team lmao? Got to be an octane main with that octane brain.. you're entitled to your opinion tho 😂😂

@MrSweetBeaks i can tell you're not a good player. There's a reason 100% of the teams in ALGS use Bangalore and none use Maggie. If you use Maggie you're most likely a gold player or you're holding your team back.

Some additional info: Vantage: can see which Mirage is a decoy and which is real. When using scopes above 3X the bullet drop will be marked on the vertical scale line and and has ability to see enemy position even in the smoke Lifeline: her drone and care package can be used as cover if you're in a spot where you can't hide

Honestly vantage is kinda slept on if youre trying to play really aggressive with conduit/rev, her ultimate is perfect to combo with rev pouncing on an enemy and shes able to provide all the intel you'll need with ring consoles and survey beacons

Love this style of list, but you totally missed out on showing it off at the end so we can better look at a full breakdown instead of seeing it on a small screen. I'd love to see the list expand to the full screen next time so I can really look at the whole thing, rather than having to screenshot it, and crop the picture so that it's just the rankings (which the characters are still small and bad quality anyways so it's still not the best solution). Finally, someone who understands Wattson. Ive been watching Scrappy's streams and softly arguing in his chat about how powerful Wattson is at her role. He tends to really value role versatility though, he argues that Catalyst is the better control legend just because she fills multiple roles, even though she doesn't do any of them very effectively. Scrappy also rated Caustic very low so it seems that hes just not a very big control player. I personally feel like Wattson and Caustic are on the same tier in higher levels just because Caustics biggest weakness is his size and being naded, which are weaknesses Wattson doesn't share. And you say there is no counter to Caustic (other than another Caustic) but there are alot of scenarios where a well played Wattson gen can completely deny a Caustic push. Obviously a smart Caustic will just detonate a barrel outside and destroy the fences through walls, but very few Caustics do that and my gen has eaten many a gas grenade, even the gas grenades of very good Caustic players. I will say Caustic in his strongest ideal situation is completely unbeatable, and having offense capabilities is great, but his drawbacks are very real and can throw alot of games. Which is why Wattson evens out with Caustic, in my opinion at least.

I agree, but i think. you also need to take into consideration the map rotation. For example, i think wattson edges caustic in storm point. I've been consistently playing caustic this season. I noticed i struggle a lot in storm point, so for storm point i switch to wattson and it makes a big difference. Map is just way to open for a caustic, and you really need a wattson gen because of the lack of decent cover. Sometimes you're stuck holding a rock when the ring is smaller and you just get naded to the point you have to move into the open. In other maps, you can usually move into another spot while they nade you because there's just more cover in the other maps, whether it's building or the terrain. But you're 100 percent right on having them be about the same level. I would argue though that caustic is slighter better because he's easier to use. Wattson fences take time to place or precision (especially on controller, PC feels a bit easier to place fences faster). But just based on the ease of use, i'd say caustic edges wattson out, but not by much.

@@BigSuzpekt I mean yeah, I do agree that the maps make a difference. Storm Point is just a terrible map in general so big characters that can't create cover struggle alot. Newcastle, Bang, and Valk are really good on Storm point because they can create cover and rotate alot. I do disagree that Caustics ease of use makes him necessarily better, for instance Seer is far easier to use than Crypto, but Crypto is far more useful than Seer could ever be when played correctly. However I will say that Caustic does edge out Wattson a tiny bit because his gas can destroy fences and when Caustic is played in his strongest situation, he is damn near unstoppable, but he can still get naded out if not careful so that's why him and Wattson are on the same level for me

Ballistic × Rampart is a recipe for destruction. Especially when Rampart uses Sheila or a LMG ( her passive with Ballistics ult is so damn good). Ballistic is a fantastic legend.

I think this is the only W apex tier list ive seen this season lol only thing i will say is that for me i find ballistic pretty ok especially off drop his recent passive buff with the white attachments guaranteeing a white mag or shotgun bolt off drop is pretty good. i am in the lower ranks however but i do have 1100 kills on him and i think those who learn his kit can do very well. being hit with the tactical can make the enemy quite panicked at my level. of course every legend is good and with experience they can be great but not many people talk about ballistic or give him a good go imo. great video can see lots of effort put into it 👍

Yeah i think Ballistic is not a D tier in both tiers. I would say he's a solid B in lower lobbies, but somewhere between C and D in higher lobbies. The tactical only really panics low level players. The overheating is annoying though, but most high level players will time it so they don't get overheated or they'll just eat that while applying damage so the other team can't take advantage of overheating.

Ash never gets any love 😂 She’s my #1 for my play style (aggressive full send and often pairs w my buddy who plays Maggie) If you can tether someone in the middle of a doorway as they’re trying to either run or get some quick peeking shots, you win that gunfight 9.5/10 and her portal is so versatile

He doesn't need to constantly be on his drone. He can throw it out quickly by tapping the tactical button in front of him. A quick reposition of the drone and recalling can make sure Crypto is mobile with the team. People just don't know ow to use him at all, he is actually more viable than Bloodhound in many ways, just not with the smoke Meta rn

I am a mediocre player with a little over 4K kills with Crypto and imo he is terrible right now. His perks seriously need to be changed. His pick rate has always been low but imo he's the worse legend in the game right now largely bc he has nothing beneficial in the end game.

I feel like the tier list graphs are too small, considering how short the time is for it staying on the screen is. If I was even a bit distracted, I missed on what tier you placed the character, because the small size made it more difficult to quickly see what even all those characters on the tiers are. So my suggestion would be increased size for the list and/or longer visibility for the tier. Having a different background or outline color for the currently talked about character would also be helpful locating it on the list.

Lifeline not being in god-tier is insane, the value you get from a gold plated care pack is absurdly overpowered. Her reset potential is the highest of any legend in the game right now and equips you very well for third parties

I feel like the only way octane is really useful in ranked is if you have insane movement. Like I’m talking 180 superglides in neo strafing type movement. Aside from that he’s just not great. His jump pad is just impossible to use during any fight at all

Man I've been watching Dazs livestream his alt account where he just plays Vantage, so i decided to try her out. Man shes so much fun. You can definitely feel her fall off during late game, but the early and mid game with her is just a blast. Im legit having a hard time playing anyone else bc of it. Then again I don't really take ranked that seriously, I have several other games I play and only have 2 people to play with(one hops on twice a week if im lucky and the other is a .2kd player on his best day) and I blatantly, 110% refuse to play and comm with scumbag randoms, but it's fun to hop in and just screw around and see how accidentally far we can get lol. Usually mid Plat. Spamming Mirage ults with his mega cooldown perk and a gold helmet is a fun troll time too😂

Honestly ballistic constantly in lower tiers I think is unfair. Atleast in the lower ranks for sure. Depending on the weapon on the sling and if you can find ult accels, you could have a gold, reved up rampage (without having to do any of the animations mind you) for every single fight without carrying thermites aswell as movement and reload for your whole team. I can see an argument for higher end ranks, but gold and below Definitely higher but only if you get a great sling so maybe c or b tier I'd say.
