​@@margueritebaroan9042 it can be highly addictive, if you have any mental illnesses it can cause those symptoms to be worse, it can cause mood swings especially when the med wears off. It has it's pros and cons. Definitely one if your not use to stimulants ease into it and not take the full dose immediately. Dr might suggest to take half bc they are made to be broke in half in tablet form.

But the weight-loss is minimal, and the potential side effects are highly embarrassing and messy. 😢 Personally, if you were looking for something relatively cheap (aka a non-GLP-1), yet fairly effective, I’d talk with your doctor about Contrave or Qsymia. Assuming you don’t have any contraindications, that’d seem to be a good path to do some research on and see. 🤔 The newer GLP-1s will usually be better for weight-loss (for most, but not all ppl), but are very expensive and frequently in shortage. 🤬

Zepbound is also a GIP agonist, but it’s technically also the exact same drug as Mounjaro, just with a different FDA indication. There are other GIP agonists in the works, such as Retatrutide and VK2735, but they won’t officially hit the market for a couple of years yet.
