Ngl the way you guys talked about bo4 made me so sad....but i understand. As someone who usually buys cod for zombies and ww2 was the only multiplayer i played before bo4 since bo2 and have only played the black ops campaign, i loved bo4. I bought it for zombies and didn't really care for the zombies when it came out so i had so much fun on blackout and multiplayer, would love to go back if there was still a good player base, and went back to the zombies even years later and enjoy it more now. All that to say bo4 was my favorite cod all together and i think it deserves more love for what it was.

BO2 slight edge over BO1, then BO3 > BO4 > CW. Regardless I enjoyed all of the Black ops series thus far. I wouldn't argue with others who have a different order. I love them all, tbh 😅💪🏻

@@GoingDarkPodcast Yes. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed Cold War as well, but for me, I preferred BO4 because of the movement and the gunplay. It just felt like the skill gap was more wide and created a challenge and separated the sweats from the casual player. Maybe I'm biased because I enjoy watching the CDL and I enjoyed watching the CWL back when it was still a thing for the competitive side of CoD. I did enjoy the multiplayer/zombies for CW (didn't care for the streak system and the movement was clunky at times), but I prefer the multiplayer maps, score streaks of BO4 (I'm a huge multiplayer guy and that holds the most weight for me) and I liked Blackout as well. It just felt more of an arcade style shooter that fit my way of playing CoD at the time. I am grateful that we even got a Call of Duty release during the Pandemic, but I still would choose BO4. I would die happy playing either game.

i would personally put cold war in A tier imo, the only thing keeping it from S tier is only 4 round based maps. the campaign was absolutely amazing and felt like bo1, the multiplayer was enjoyable, engaging, and had a lot of fun modes, zombies was so much fun just missing a few extra round based maps would make it so good

Question. Since Call of Duty has essentially gone full live service, even having its own launcher essentially, do you think Call of Duty could launch a full service like Fortnite where each year or every so often they “reboot” and it’s essentially mandatory for everyone. Fortnite went to a whole new island layout. Call of Duty could go into a full new game, basically “Sunsetting” last years game. And if they did do this, what would be the pros and cons of such a drastic new form of the long standing franchise? Wow what a long one.

World at War was the first “Black Ops” and Black Ops 2 was the “last” but given the games you ranked, I’ll rank them below. Would’ve put WaW in S tier. The 3rd mode doesn’t have much weight on my rankings as the name suggests is a “3rd mode” (being zombies). Overall: S: Black Ops 2 A: Black Ops B: Cold War C: D: Black Ops 4 F: Black Ops 3 Campaign: S: Black Ops, Black Ops 2 A: Cold War B: C: D: Black Ops 3 F: Black Ops 4 Multiplayer: S: Black Ops 2 A: Black Ops B: Cold War C: Black Ops 4 D: F: Black Ops 3 Keep in mind, I’ve been playing COD since 2005 with COD 2. So my perception of COD really fell off after Black Ops 2, seriously saw the next 4 titles as step backs until WW2 in 2017 which made a slight step forward once they fixed multiplayer. Then the franchise has made step backs since except for the MP of MW2023

I'm a certified BO4 lover, so I'm extra nice to it(I actually enjoyed MP when I occasionally booted it up, and I really enjoyed Zombies). I also can't really solidly rank them as a whole, since they aren't equal(in terms of content). I like ranking them by mode. So Campaign for me goes... S: BO1, BO2 A: CW C: BO3 F: BO4 MP goes... S: BO3, BO2 A: CW, BO1 B: BO4 Zombies goes... S: BO3 A: BO4, CW B: BO2, BO1 If I had to rank them as a whole it'd have to go... S: BO3, BO2 A: CW, BO1 B: BO4

Bo3 and bo4 are Treyarch's best works from multiplayer to zombies. These games play better than any previous Treyarch title even bo2. Cold war is treyarchs most forgettable game by far due to its mediocre zombies and multiplayer experience. Bo1 was my favorite cod title but if you go back and play these old titles they play horrible as where bo3 and bo4 play better than any cod game ive ever played.

Bo1 was just Peak Cod and there is nothing else to say Bo3 might have divided the community but it gave so much like It had many different modes from DOA2 To Nightmares to Zombies and they brought back Custom maps from Bo1 WAW Just a Fun Game Campaign was Awesome and when I was a Kid as soon Campaign stopped and Zombies turned on I was Scared cause that Intro to Nact is Iconic Bo4 took out Campaign for Blackout which I Enjoyed multiplayer was ok I guess but yeah I know I'm a Zombies Fan but like The story telling of Zombies Divided the mode into 2 story's Aether and Chaos and They both were Great they both ended in Bo4 and Aether led into Dark Aether in the next game BOCW this game was Quite Great honestly its a Nice touch to the series CW was only played for Zombies from my knowledge cause Multiplayer was Led by MW2019 at that time so yeah And I remember the moment where they decided to play Fair and not Release Easter eggs 1 day before for Playstation then XBox Now finally Bo2 th3 reason why I put it all the way at the Bottom compared to the others its just Lackluster yeah sure Multiplayer was Great Campaign was Confusing cause of the time skips then Zombies was Ehh Cause 3 out of the 6 maps had a Cross map thing where you can store stuff like weapons and Points Die rise exists And ohhh Mob of the Dead was so good Yeah it was so good cause They were gonna Add Denizens to it but they stopped that the only thing that Carried Zombies in that game was Origins that was probably the beat map in that game But yeah the game was Lackluster and it's full of Hackers and the fun ones unlike Bo1 and WAW

Black Ops 4 was an absolute disgrace. Looking at it, you would think it was before BO1. Movement was terrible, gunplay sucked, the art style, no campaign, the list is endless.

*BO4 was terrible imo, a lazy copy & paste of BO3 so F tier for Fail & Forgettable* they didnt change anything, just took the boost jumping/jetpacks away from BO3 and made it boots on the ground then called it a new game. *Nothing original, No Campaign Recycled content from BO2 & BO3* which were better to keep the game alive, Exact same operators from BO3. *No memorable or Iconic weapons* but I can remember guns from BO3 - Man o War, Kuda, ICR etc *BO4 - F - FAIL & Forgettable COD*
