I would have put Mars Stations on 2nd, Chaoz on 3rd, Undersea on 4th and old Virulent on 5th I really like Mars Stations cause of the consistent design and yeah while the gameplay isn’t really anything unique, it still had consistent jumps and really good pacing of lava. The whole map looks well made too and I really like the air dive gameplay even if it only appeared a few times! Chaoz has optimisation and gameplay issues yet I still find this really fun especially with the OST! It also looks really appealing to look at with the lighting and green colours Undersea I think is just a decent map like it has unique gameplay with the swimming sections but it can be annoying sometimes cause of its claustrophobic size and some awkward jumps. Design isn’t really anything special like you said but I think for a facility its consistent and doesn’t abuse glow. I do really like the alternate exit tho, I think its been executed well with its layout The old virulent I just think is underwhelming cause its very short and the gameplay is frustrating and awkward at times cause of the jumps being clustered and a few sharp turns. Not a big fan with the old version of the OST cause it sounds too electric/techno for an outdoor map and it sounds a little repetitive Desert Ruins we can universally agree is just disappointing…

Here are my top 3 and why! 3rd. Undersea Facility - Definitely not the easiest to sight read imo considering the fact that majority of the map is underwater but the idea of a undersea facility is not bad! The detail is great and the ost is good too so overall not that bad of map! 2nd. Chaoz Japan - I'll keep this one shorter then the last one. Pretty easy to sightread, details are phenomenal and the gameplay is unique! But ofc there's one map that takes my Number 1 spot! 1st. Snowy Stronghold - I genuinely do not think I can find anything bad about this map, everything about it is great! Definitely one of the best highlights we have had so far!

you can actually get every button on snowy because it waits for you most of the time, i know this can be said with like every map but this still applies to people that actually know how to play the map, its cool and feels like an accomplishment when you actually beat it, should be a permanent

my list: (very speculative because i’ve only played 2 of them) 6: Mars Stations. I know highlighted maps were relatively new then but this map, while really nice and passable, is not super special, which is why it’s last. 5. Desert Ruins. This map is overall good, but the bad parts are very prominent. The hard gameplay is ok, since again highlighted maps were still relatively new, but it is quite annoying as it contains gameplay not seen in the regular game like tightropes. The visuals are also quite bland, nothing that sticks out too much. (still on dr, the map got updated after it’s highlight, and for some reason the fog just does a lot. It looks more like flying sand, so it really makes you feel like you’re in a raging and “ruined” desert. The new ost is also much better) 4. Virulent Junkyard. This map is the result of changing the theme of DR and toning it down. It’s definitely better, and a lot less annoying to play, while also having nice visuals, but it doesn’t stand out enough for a higher placement than this. 3. Undersea Facility. This map looks really fun. I really like swimming themed maps, and this map looks like it does a great job at doing that. The visuals are nice, presenting the idea that you’re in a facility quite well. This would place higher but the unfitting ost doesn’t do it justice, and also because I haven’t played it before so im playing it safe 2. Chaoz Japan. This map is great. It has an awesome ost and great visuals. The lava speed is a bit much, but that’s a relatively small problem. What really pushes it to second is the gameplay. It’s not very interesting and is mostly long jumps over steadily rising terrain until the tower section. However, it did get its last section revamped and it is an improvement. 1. Snowy Stronghold. Perfect map. It’s a nice break from the harder crazies and the gameplay is quite fun. The ost is banger, and the visuals present the theme of a snow covered stronghold quite well. The lava texture could be something different though, but overall this map is a great example of a good, middle ground crazy.

i used to want snowy stronghold to leave and for it to be replaced with a new highlight because of how overplayed it was. now, i can't imagine the game without it. the map belongs in the main game forever as a permanent map

Hijacked OST was used for Entry Point [roblox game] mission [plays when sirens are activated] - The SCRS. And it really fit the situation there Undersea Facility used it like a filler ig, it doesn't even fit here

I haven't beaten 4 of these, so I'll say my thoughts on the ones I have: Chaoz Japan: The gameplay... GOD the gameplay is ATROCIOUS. Long jump spam, in the most annoying and aggravating way possible, walljumps that don't feel rewarding, just good OST (could've been better), awful to replay, super punishing beginning for no reason. All of this makes it the 3RD WORST CRAZY IN THE GAME. (SSR and IP are worse) SSH: Subbed just for this pick. So real for the OST and gameplay comments and such. Played a million times and still just as satisfying when I beat it. The best map in game, the best crazy in game, and a perfect map to segway into the harder crazy maps.

Thank you for saying the quite part out loud. While somethings have changed, Desert Ruins is legit just extremely unfun to play, and one of the first maps that I will intentionally dodge. I don't get why people love this map soooo much that they spam so many coins to play it right now during the event (achievement aint worth it), but atleast it's a nice 1-2 minute break to stretch my arms (oh and coupled with the current water/lava glitch, it's even more unbearable)

tbh Old CJ would have been better if it was that put into the game because you had more time for the lava to rise and the button at the end was not an extra jump. ALSO, the old music is much better in my opinion.

My thoughts on each map Desert ruins 4/10, good looking but absolutely atrocious gameplay, and the difficulty doesn’t excuse it because there are maps way harder which are an absolute blast. Chaos japan 10/10, absolutely incredible in every sense of the word, probably 2 favourite crazy behind maybe Bm Virulent junkyard 3/10 good conceptually but has easily some of the worst gameplay imaginable and looks like s@&t, I could go so in depth on how much of a failure this map is, though I love the remake and does the original map justice by making actually really good Mars station 9/10 derivative of Bm but still an amazing map overall Snowy stronghold 9/10 great in every sense, though I wish it had a different lava texture. Undersea facility 6.5/10 good concept but has a bit lacklustre execution Overall my ranking from worst to best is virulent junkyard, desert ruins, undersea facility, Mars station, snowy stronghold, and chaoz japan

As an advanced obbyist, i find cj very fun and rewarding in terms of gameplay. Also you should consider the replayability too since i find ssh too boring to replay, meanwhile my interest in cj stays still. I can agree with the dr tho

My opinion (With AVM and DS, because they were highlights too. Also reworks counts too. By the way, bad grammar, sorry.) #12: Desert Ruins. I completely agree with you. I dont have anything to say, you said everything for me lol #11: Mars Station. Map is very good, I do agree with that. But gameplay is kinda boring for me, and color scheme is eh, I mean its okay, but I dont like it. The last room (before escape room) is very confusing, and lava rising too fast here. #10: Virulent Junkyard (Old one). The details is minimal, I dont like it, also gameplay too. Color scheme is very odd and weird. #9: Snowy Stronghold (Old). Gameplay very fun, but the problem is very long ziplines, fast lava and lighting. #8: Undersea Facility (New). Its much better than any under, in my opinion. But why its 8th? Well.. The gameplay is different than old one, but Its worse sometimes. Heres nothing me to say anymore. Any map above getting more hard to decide. #7: Decaying Silo (In-Game version). Well, the map looks good, but problem is that theme isnt fit the details in map. The only thing that made ds being in 7th is both tower sections and lighting. (NOT WHOA BRUH) #6: Active Volcanic Mines. Yeah, the hardest map in fe2 being in middle of the list. I like fast pacing maps, but why AVM in 6th then? All because of some gameplay out-tower section. Last room making our's heart rate increase for like 20%-30% #5: Chaoz Japan. I like theme, but I dont like some gameplay. The tower section was very good to my surprise, but start section is very weird, but fun. #4: Undersea Facility (Old). One of my favorite theme is undersea maps, I didnt mention on new uf. I like old more, because it has few of easy jumps and doesnt have "PC" walljumps after tower. #3: Virulent Junkyard (New). I like lighting here, and gameplay got better (but still walljumps spam). the map got extended, and its very creative. And the map different from old one, more gameplay, better details and more. #2: Snowy Stronghold (New). The first 5 maps was hard to decide, but SSh gets 2nd place. The lighting, detail and gameplay is much, MUCH better than old one. The only think I dont like, so its swimming boat at end, like wth? #1: Decaying SIlo (New). Yeah, reworked decaying silo. Lets start with that newest ds look more like silo. The gameplay is COMPLETELY different than any other fe2 maps. Fast pacing lava, right placements of walljumps, ziplines and more. Buttons is very easy to get now. While old ds has annoying buttons, for example 2nd button. You can press it, but fall down, just because you forgor to jump 💀. So yeah. The lighting, gameplay and details is very good. I love everything in new decaying silo. (Im not simp of fucking skin.)

Desert ruins isn't a bad map, it has a good ost and the design is alright (revamped) although it is a bit repetitive. Desert ruins gameplay though is too difficult for most of the community. The map is made for mostly more experienced players. It's difficulty is the main reason why people dislike it, and also crazy 6+ should have been category if it were to have been added.

That's the problem, we are looking for playable maps and moderate details, not the other way around, this map is a crazy+ which breaks and ruins the normal game and should already be eliminated, I just hope that crazyblox doesn't add the crazy+ difficulty because it would kill the entire game and no one will want to play it

Snowy is a good map but I don’t think it’s best worthy in my opinion. Snowy personally should’ve gotten 5th it’s a little overrated. I also think that desert ruins should’ve gotten 3rd.

I heavily disagree with this list The moment he put chaoz Japan at 5th place I clicked off Imo chaoz Japan is miles better than snowy stronghold It deserves more respect Wdym it's too 'harsh' it isn't as bad as AVM and that map is beloved for it's difficulty But what really pissed me off is that he put chaoz before og virulent junkyard, so a map with no detail and somewhat ok gameplay is better than a decorated map with fun gameplay The tower is actually fun compared to all the other maps on the list and it's not a snoozefest The other placements are fine it's just that, CJs placing in the list fucking pisses me off Here is my personal list though 5)undersea facility I find the gameplay to be very boring and its kinda generic too 4) virulent junkyard The only reason why this is above undersea is because it has better gameplay. 3) Desert ruins Same reasons as video 2) snowy stronghold Ill be honest, i find this map cancerous because of how boring it is, it has the most generic gameplay i have ever seen and there is nothing fun about it But the only reason why this is so high is because the other highlights are kinda bad 1) chaoz japan Sightreadable, notso generic gameplay with an awesome ost What else do i have to say, its excellent but like every map it has its own flaws, but unlike the other maps the flaws do not outweigh the good things

Undersea Facility imo is kinda mid as its the most repetitive crazy on this list and the swimming gets so boring, also my only problem with ssh is how they handle the interactives, they feel very awkward, especially the box after the second button
