The main argument for Naruto being above Sasuke at their last fight IMO, is the thing about needing feats to be replicable -- Sasuke was using the chakra of the bijuu, which he only had access to in that one instance, while Naruto used only his and Kurama's powers, which he has all the time. Under that very specific circumstance, they tied, but while Naruto's performance is repeatable, Sasuke isn't.

Well, if you consider possibility to replicate abilities in order to count them in ranking, the you cannot tie EoS Naruto and Sasuke. Naruto still can gather nature energy but sasuke has no possession of biju chakra anymore.

I want to mention something about the war arc feats . You always mention that they were outliers, but you ignore the very specific context of them. First of all the artist duo did not have their weapons with them. They had no puppet and no clay, which is a significant nerve to them. This is how other characters were able to combat them. Another thing is with the gold and silver brothers. First of all, they did not even have all of their tools. secondly, they were fighting an entire division. thirdly, they both only lost because of technicalities and shenanigans. Entire strategies were devised and followed to a tea for them to be defeated. Not a single character that fought them was shown to be anywhere near their strength. To convey what a threat they were the Raikage was about to go out to face them himself. He didn’t even react like that for his father. I just wanted to mention all this, I really enjoy your stuff.

For me I think Neji and Sasuke are stronger than Naruto in the chunin exam finals. Neji only lost because he underestimated him. Had he not deactivated the byakugan and the fight would end with his victory. Sasuke had the Chidori and I don't think Naruto would be able to counter it at that time, as he didn't have the Rasengan yet. Also, Lee at that time couldn't fight anymore so he would be 15.

Naruto didn't really do better than Sasuke against Gaara. If you re-read the manga fight, Gaara had simply stopped moving and just stood on the same tree branch while letting Naruto pummel him with clones. And even then, Gaara never received any direct injuries, only his sand got peeled off. While Sasuke managed to make him seriously bleed all 3 times he hit him with chidori, forcing him to regenerate his sand (which he conveniently forgot to do against Naruto).

Good point about Sasuke vs Naruto final fight, if anything i'd argue Sasuke was more gimped by the plot. He would've won if he had just absorbed Naruto's final rasengan or simply put him under genjutsu (Kurama was asleep so he couldn't break him out).

Not to be annoying but early in the video you said that Ino could mind transfer hersel to Gaara and "self harm" but I think it's very unlikely, not only because Gaara's sand could maybe block the "projectile" but his sand would definitely protect him from self harm as it did the same when he was younger, aside from that great video man

Great video again, have a few critiques mainly in Shippuden. In part 1, the scaling you use is a bit weird considering how much more powerful the Konoha 12 and Sand 3 get against the combatants that individually are at least chunin and more so closer to the special jonin tier (not a clear jonin) I also want to preface that besides Gaara, no one here is at jonin level. Naruto & Sasuke final valley maybe but considering they are outliers as they literally only scale to each other. No one else is close to that tier. Okay Shippuden. I'd say every list there are things I have a problem with. First list, I'm sorry but Temari, Kankuro and Neji should be above everyone not named Gaara. They are jonin. In order for one to be a jonin they not only need the skill and intangibles but a jonin level in power. This doesn't mean they are at the peak of jonin such as Kakashi or Guy (who perform more on the lower end Kage even in this arc with MS and 6th Gate) but the baseline jonin is MULTIPLE levels ahead of a chunin. In that first list, it should be 1. Gaara 2. Neji 3 & 4. Kankuro and Temari 5. Sakura (she could be as high as 2 just based off of showings) 6. Naruto (Sai would also be here or ahead of Naruto) 7. Shikamaru (argued that he should've been a jonin already but is lazy) 8. Sasuke and the rest of the list is fine The next tier list would have the ranking changed a bit. 1. Gaara 2. Naruto (rasenshuriken) 3. Sasuke (base and Naruto is creating a jutsu to surpass that level) 4. Shikamaru 5. Neji and so on The ranking list (up to the end of Pain Arc) I would have as 1. Sage Naruto 2. MS Sasuke (vs. Bee) 3. Gaara 4. Shikamaru and so on I would say towards the end I disagree a bit more as you don't take into account all the feats and sorta brush them off and call it inconsistencies. Really isn't any inconsistencies at all in scaling at this time, albeit later in the war is bigger and bigger power creeps. But given feats and numerous statements, characters in the war like Sakura, Gaara (somewhat), Choji, Hinata I don't think get quite the respect here as they should. Still, good video where I think the rankings get a bit contentious in part 2 but overall part 1 is definitely pretty good

You can say Naruto wasn’t holding back. I can accept that. However, he had fought the war the WHOLE time. Sent shadow clones all over to fight. Has a small fraction of the tailed beast chakra while Sasuke had the whole tailed beasts. Naruto’s power at the final fight is more replicable than Sasuke’s as he never again had the tailed beast chakra at his disposal.

That's literally Naruto matching an Enton infused Chidori with less Chakra cause again Sasuke absorbed Naruto's Chakra just to make that. What are you talking about

What’re yall talkin bout, in naruto the last Lee literally destroys the meteor in his base and in the novelisation of the movie he destroys the meteor alone.And in boruto when the five kage were fighting momoshiki and urashiki gaara states in the novelisation that they should have brought rock lee with them.Which according to me is enough proof to state that lee was stronger than the 5 kage individually in his seventh gate and in his eighth gate he surpasses the 5 kage altogether.
