Its cool to rank them from slowest to fastest but a cargo test would be cool as well in these videos so we know which trucks are actually good for taking jobs, cuz whilst the Iveco trucks are good without a trailer, with a trailer they're kind of sluggish compared to everything else.

I have noticed, either in convoy mode with random people or in TMP, several players with 8x4 trucks, probably with more expensive parts, transporting loads than a 4x2 truck would be enough. It gets me pissed because it's a waste of money, however I respect their decisions.

I think the problem is that you use not the same differentials at the trucks. When the differential on the gearbox is higher, the truck is slower at end but faster at the begging because the "power" is in the beginning gears.

I think you might redo this test : Using the same chassis, the same gearboxes as possible. Also keeping in mind that this is not a racing game, and taking 165 kph is not a really good idea on a trucking game though.

you tested the trucks as buyed from the shop, you should try to compare 1 truck per model (like actros, streamline etc.) with the same chassis

The fact that new actros have slowest 0-90 acceleration while actros have the highest 0-90 acceleration

My FH16 classic recently reached above 180 kph, with a curtain trailer loaded with a medical equipment, near Kessel in Germany ;) As I remember that truck was able to reach much more in early game versions.

Volvo Fh 750 is the fastest now. I have tested scania 730 vs volvo 750 both have a very small difference in the torque. Even if volvo is a bit faster, the controls on scania are the best. So I personally feel scania 730 is a winner for me.

Hey there i have a problem maybe some of ypu or even Milan himself could help me... I have a logitech g920 and wwhen i am turning my wheel further than ~190° the truck turn abruptly to the end of the steering range (and if i go ubder this marl, it snaps back to the correct position) i do not know why, because on ATS i dont have this problem. I hope i can find help here

The Scanias weren't really the best, but they are still my first choice trucks because they're good in estetics and for delivering cargo they are good as well!

This test means absolutely nothing tbh, Scanias are called the kings on the road for a reason The only thing that makes sense in this comparison is the 90-0 test

Scania is the second best right after Volvo with the correct transmission. You want the second option from the list, as it has the best gear ratios for high speed driving.

Actually the 2009 Volvo is the FH12. The 2012 Volvo is the FH16. There are a few typos in this video. The Globetrotter or Globetrotter xl are the different cabin variants.

The MAN trucks should be higher really they are the truck of choice with the vast majority of the teams in the European and British Trucking championships for a reason. You get the odd Mercedes Scania Volvo Iveco etc but not many at all really. Volvo used to dominate but that was some 20 years ago now, i drive the FH in ETS2 because of nostalgia but it isn't realistic to be the quickest anymore.

If you're looking for a good truck for heavy cargo? I'd say the globetrotter XL, in the other hand, if you're looking for comfort, definitely the newest DAF

Volvo FH16 2012 if you use a gamepad or a wheel - you can easily loose control in 4x2 configuration on empty, FH16 classic on mouse at least - easy to flip, so precision steering needed, Scania R on keyboard. However for the heavy transport I recommend whatever truck you like with around 400hp engine. It is much less boring to follow a pilot car, struggling to keep those 60 kph or climb a hill at all.
