Ranking The Most Powerful Avengers In The MCU

Since 2008’s Iron Man, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has brought over 30 superhero characters to life on the big screen. Some of them have gotten their own movies and some are just part of the Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, or are trusty sidekicks.
Since Avengers: Infinity War finally banded all these characters together, comics and movie fans have debated who is the most powerful Avenger.
There are the big three -- Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor -- but you also can’t rule out Vision, Captain Marvel and Scarlet Witch. To pour more fuel in the fire, here is our ranking of the most powerful Avengers in the MCU.

Yes. Even before Thor got his new powers he was on equal footing with Hulk, which means with his new power he's even stronger. Plus you have to remember that Hulk only has his super strength and healing abilities whilst Thor has lightning, the same super strength, agility, healing, weather manipulation, the ability to breathe and travel in outer space etc. Hulk was clearly outclassed in that Ragnarok fight.

Hugo Santos 1. I don't think he watched Infinity War and 2. She hardly ever uses her powers to her full potential. That scene seems like the first time she ever had to try. She could easily delete all of Thanos' minions and she could beat any of Thanos' children in a 1v1 (as seen by the fact that they needed to wait for her to join the battle before going after Vision duing the Big Wakanda Battle (best name ever))

The reason Bucky was added was because he was in civil war and this list is only composed of characters that have been in the Avengers movies or in Bucky’s case Civil War. Dr. Strange was not added because he hasn’t had any interaction with the Avengers in the MCU besides Thor.

Hulk wouldn't hurt Thanos with Gauntlet at all. Without gauntlet, he's got good chance. But Thor is by far the most powerful hero of MCU now, after Ragnarok and Infinity War. He survived the energy of a star and unleashed his true weather controlling powers. The thing with the hulk is usually the angrier he gets the stronger he gets so while Thor was getting the upper hand it's not a done deal that he was going to win. Hulk is generally the consensus strongest of the avengers.

The only limitation on the hulk is how much banner holds him back which is usually why Thor wins their fights, Banner doesn't want to kill Thor and that holds the Hulk back from going all out against him. The hulk has bested Thor and Thor has bested the Hulk so no it's not rubbish. I'm not saying Hulk would have won, just saying if he gets angry enough he beats Thor. Considering Thor was trying to calm him down probably wouldn't have got angry enough though.

Thor (New lighting powers, can take a lot of heavy beatings, with stormbreaker he is OP) 2. Scarlett Witch (Powers are unmatched but still human and vulnerable) 3. Vision (Mind stone and made of vibranium) 4. Dr. Strange (Mystic Arts and time stone use means virtually immortal) 5. Iron Man (Now with nanotech he can summon any design he's invented) 6. Hulk (High strength but no combat skills) 7. Black Panther (Heart Herb and ALL the vibranium tech) 8. Captain America (Weird science makes him a super strong skilled fighter only a vibranium shield) 9. Spiderman (Weirdly super Strong, agile with high reflexes and stark tech suits) 10. Valkyrie (Asgradian strength and endurance and trained combat skills) 11. Winter Soldier (Cap but weaker and a metal arm) 12. Starlord (If still celestial then fairly strong, otherwise just a space cowboy) 13. Gamora (Strong and expert trained assassin) 14. Nebula (Gamora but weaker and part robot) 15. Quicksilver (Fast but lacking experience) 16. Groot (The hulk but made of wood) 17. War Machine (Iron man with less effective tech and less experience) 18.
