There is a brief mention of what happened in Harmlem in Luke Cage and also, Why do people always say Tony Stark "retired" as Iron Man after 3. The movie actually ends with him saying his line from the first one "I am Iron Man" He makes clear he doesn't need all his "toys" to be it, and is clear he will go on as such.
