I didn't notice this until just now. The show could have been centered on either character, but the way it was done makes it lack focus to a degree. I think having them them sleep together very early on was a mistake. It deflated the s3xual tension that is still a standard Hollywood convention because, frankly, it works. I don't think I will make it to the end. How many fellow officers does lucy sleep with in total? I hate it when female characters are written to act like this. It feels cheap and obligatory.

I agree with all your picks and Melissa is such a great Canadian girl right up there with Rachel MacAdams for likeable and and the wow factor on all levels. Lopez and her eyes are alone are iconic -ha. Her and Lucy could have been written like MEH characters but these girls bring a great freshness to their characters. And yes let Tim and Lucy be what they are now and build that slow burn and on the LAST show of the series pop the cork on them hooking up

Tbh right up until end of season 4 I hated the idea of chenford as a couple I always saw them as more siblings but then season 5 like sold me and now whenever I see them I’m like shipping them all the way through and I see that season 4 chemistry that I missed before

Unless Nolan has changed his gender he is not the matriarch of the show. 😂 I want to like this show, I really do. It is definitely addicting because the action and pacing gets your heart racing. But its also unfulfilling, like being addicted to twinkies. At the end of the day, its really just a soap opera with gunplay. A LOT of gunplay.
