I agree with your list. And it is nice to have a meta that isn't dominated by XL mons and there is a lot of variation in teams, which makes it hard to have a team which covers everything

lurantis is also underrated as it can deal with Azu, Lanturn and Vigoroth.

Underrated pokemon this season: Hisuian Electrode. Beats all the S+ tier pokemon (unless Talonflame double shields), doesn't get walled by the mudbois like other electric types.

Pelipper on lead this season has been putting in quite a bit of work. Aside from Lanturn, it’s been winning a ton of lead matchups or forcing switches. With answers to Lanturn in the back, it’s quite a nice team.

Honestly, I would put Cradily is S tier for me. It makes so much fun and almost no one has a answer for it. Beats nearly every top meta pokemon accept for Skamory so it can sweep trough whole teams. Also, it has a great neutral timing, a grass type being neutral to Fire, Flying types and a rock type being neutral to Ground/Water/Grass with coverage against all these types is soooo good in the current meta I feel like. It also btw has insane bulk, almost as much as a Medicham...

for me, i think dubwool is a tier. based on the simulations, it beats lanturn in the 1s with any moveset. and can give the other three a good fight, especially with wild charge. with shields down, dubwool rips right through most of the meta with wild charge/body slam with a shield advantage.

I'm really tired of seeing the same 10 pokemon all the time. I'm also tired of not being able to use as many pokemon that I actually want to play with. I wish there was a way to really balance a lot more pokemon to make the top 200 more meta relevant. Then we can see more of a variety.

Zweilouse is pretty stong as a saveswap in this meta, where azumarill is the only counter.

I’ve been running Arctibax as a safe swap who essentially does the same thing, but with better charge moves, neutrality to Ice, and no resistance to Fire. I wouldn’t say it’s a great safe swap; Medicham is definitely still around, and Vigoroth is really common too. It’s definitely not just Azu who beats it.

I think it's not great in GBL. But in Play! Pokemon, there were a couple of people that had some success with it. I think it ended up on stream even!

I've been using mew a lot in this meta with shadow claw with wild charge + flame charge. I think I may switch shadow claw out for steel wing since it got the buff this season.

Have to disagree with you here. Season feels more RPS - last season I feel there were more flexible matchups. A lot of water types in meta so I would disagree with Talon placement.

Like this 4 types mentioned are all everywhere in the current meta so it’s more like a rps, and unfortunately if u face water or ground u are in a bigger disadvantage because of being double weak to them

Can actually nerf Spark since its only Lanturn and 2 or 3 other pokemon that use it. Many other pokemon have access to it but have other better fast move

@@jacklesser6902 I actually agree. And I look it up. Some of the pokemon that have access other fast move that are Electric can learn Thundershock if want to use it.
