PSG is currently second and has tied 3 times and lost once out of 10 games in Ligue 1. Inter plays in the serie A and the lever there is shocking they might be first but imo that doesn’t mean a lot considering the teams and how they play. People also give Inter way too much credit for their champions league run they wete lucky with their bracket and if City had faced them in the Semifinals they would have been absolutely battered. Real should be much lower as well has anyone actually seen how they play shocking against Union Berlin and Atletico? I don’t know how many games I have seen a late winner from Bellingham. Bellingham is worldclass but Real is shockingly poor. If Bellingham has a below average game or if he can’t produce any magic they are very average. Our first game in Europe with massive rotation away was always going to be difficult. The logic of the 5-1 meaning newcastle are better is silly, mings getting injured our main leader a day after buendia got had a similar injury whilst having 3 first team starters out which were key to success last year was always going to end badly. One of the main reasons for the 5 goals was the early loss of Ming’s in that game with his season-ending injury. Villa was forced to remove their defensive leader and bring in Torres before he was ready for the Prem. Its obvious the prem is stronger than the rest of the leagues at the moment and so theres deffo arguments for them both to be rated highly. What I'm saying is their justification for putting Villa above Newcastle is that Newcastle had bad results against Wolves and Dortmund. Well if they're only looking at the last few weeks Dortmund should not be in there and Leverkusen should. Barca have looked average at best in a poor La liga this season and yet the still put them in. Atleti play completely differently in the league (actually play some nice attacking football) compared to UCL but they were laughing at them being on that other list. As a Villa fan, I do give the nod to Newcastle. They have had harder fixtures and have been better for longer. That said, I think we are very close to catching them and the 5-1 was a little bit flukey, just ask Sir Alex. We lost Buendia the day before to a hamstring injury who incidentally absolutely destroyed Newcastle in the pre-season friendly. We lost Mings to another hamstring injury in the first half which meant Pau had to make his Premier league debut coming off the bench away at St James. We had played some really good stuff before that but we were all over the place after Mings went off.

An Offside trap that saw us get most offside calls in Prem last season and was working well for first 30 minutes when it was 1-1. I think their run is overstated. They had an easy bracket. If City had played Inter in the semifinals they would have been battered imo. City seemed very nervous playing a champions league final for the treble (as I think a lot would) plus in finals you most of the time just don’t take as many risks.

When it comes to arguing on whose better, Eddie Howe's Newcastle and Emery's Villa everyone likes to mention the 5-1 yet no one ever talks ab when villa beat newcastle 3-0 at the end of last season which in my opinion was a way more dominant performance then the 5-1. Just like the 5-1 game the only times villa have gone wrong under emery with the first team is when a key player gets injured in the game and they're forced to play a new style they aren't used too. Not to mention Villa are also 5 points clear of Newcastle this season despite injuries to major players last season like Moreno, Mings, Buendia and Ramsey. In conclusion Villa are clear.

I swear to god these guys don't do any research on teams of other leagues. Athletico madrid beat real madrid few days ago. Bayer leverkusen are top of the league. Barcelona conceded just 20 goals last season. And Dortmund are a very very good team .

Well it depends how they justify "best team." If they're talking purely on statistics then Leverkusen are top 10 because like you said they haven't lost a single game. But if somebody held a gun to my head and forced me to guess the results against the other top 10 teams in the world in individual matches, I wouldn't have Leverkusen winning any of them.@@lucascoelho7482
