People dont realise Trippier has been back to his best lately. Yes he had a bad run after he pulled out of the England squad due to private reasons around December/early January time. But lately hes been pulling an Average rating of 7.5 since the last Champions League game. The reason Newcastles defence is so bad at the moment is due to the fact Dan Burns constantly being murked at left back. Not even the best right back of all time could fix that.

I don’t understand your idea of CURRENT. Surely there should be 3 topics. 1) Top 10 of all time (self-explanatory) 2) Top 10 this season or Top 10 right now (meaning list of best performing players in the current season) 3) Top 10 current players (surely it must mean all players currently playing in the league regardless of whether they’re injured or not).
