We have to say again; Our Selden in mast furling system has been faultless. Follow their owners manual and you will not go wrong. The gass kicker and the boom with twin sheet has been a joy to sail even coming from a racing background the ability to shape the main sail is comprehensive giving those few extra knots and being able to make landfall before dark without the engine. The extra track in the mast enables you to deploy a storm sail or additional sail should you chose. The oly wear we have had is on the goose neck from boom twist. It would be good to see a replaceable bushing engineered or included in the design. Sail Safe Guys, Ant, Cid & the pooch crew.

Ok let’s talk about the real talent here, it’s not the mast designer or the Builder, I think the real talent is the camera women shooting the video while holding a toddler, Now that’s talent, we won’t even talk about feeding the baby while steering in a channel. 😎😎

I know I am preaching to the choir but I feel compelled to encourage you on your continued ventures. You two are a delight to watch, all three of you have talents on another level above way above me and for that I am delighted and impressed. Your english is surprising in its accuracy, timing, and use of both grammar and some uniquely American English colloquial expressions. Finally I am pleased to watch the very good quality craftsmanship. Your attention to detail is not often found and impressive to watch. Many thanks, from a loyal viewer in Maryland, United States, near Wash. DC

Only one hour to cut and grind all the holes in that 23m mast, not counting the time required to do all the measuring and programming of the CNC machine to accommodate the boat measurements and new sails. That's impressive!

10:20 That was so funny. For those who just dont know about Swedish accents in English this man is talking typical Gothenburg dialect English or what is also called Volvo English. Never thought I'd hear that on a cruising channel. Hey Johan, who makes the extrusions? Guessing its SAPA? How come noone in the cruising world knows how to pronounce Seldén? Thank you for a great episode. Very interesting.

Hi ,YES it is a little more than a stick , a fine piece of engineering ,just to catch a free puff of wind ,that can take you any where in the world . Wait until some clever clogs ,decides to put a tax on it . Well I will never look at a mast in same way again ,they will have to be up there with a young lady in a swim suit . Nature plays a part in all things , mine is two shiny props taken off our rib .polished and stand each side of our fire place until Easter and the it is time to go boating again . Thanks for ride along with the three of you ,stay safe take care . A mast for all seasons for all the right reasons enjoy .
