Exactly I've been saying it for years they put the cruise control on max at 63 or 65 and they never slow for anything. They will blow your doors off in a construction zone right after you passed them before it. I don't think they can read because those guys are also the same guys who are passing you on the right when the signs says trucks use left lane

Some companies govern speed to posted speeds. But it's based on reported speeds, if their app doesn't get a report it won't show up on your navigation and won't limit their speed.

No one obeys construction zone speed unless there's workers present. I know, you still need to obey signs but seeing drivers do speed limit anywhere is a rare sight indeed.

Seems like the construction CO. are making these switchbacks tighter and there are more of them . But thats how the day drivers get the jollies for the day , Passing in the construction zones and kicking up rocks and bolts off the shoulders.

I deal with this on I 30 before little Rock. Those drainage pipes they have set up zo get scared to death I'm gonna pop a tire or knock a mirror off going in there. I get in the left and impatient low speed governed trucks I already passed are trying to pass me in the right. They nearly take my mirrors out because of those drainages. It gets scary.

I’m a 63 mile a hour trucker , or what ever the speed limit is. I’m in no hurry and my camera keeps me legal , run 2 parrot headsets one set for calling the wife the the other work. One touch calling . I let all the crazy’s get ahead of me and out of my way , it’s usually me and Prime hanging out at the back of the line .

It is not just construction zones they speed in, it is everywhere they go. That is how those guys make a better check because their company doesn’t trust their drivers.

If you use ypur brain for just a little you would see WHY slow governed trucks have to speed in construction zones. They cant recover time in the middle of no where because theyre governed at such slow speed. I hate that they do that too but i completely understand why ppl do it even though it puts my nerves on edge because you have to watch out for these crazy drivers.

I had a good friend die working road construction so I respect the zones hardcore and absolutely hate on anyone blasting through. I used to tell my trainees all the time, there's two ways to win the lottery. Get hit by a truck or win the lottery.
