The comment I hated the most from guys on the job was always, "it looks good from my house." It was bad enough in commercial spaces, but the absolute worst was when we were working in someone else's home that they'll be walking through and looking at every day. To consider how much work went into creating the products that are being installed, and then they waste it all with a crappy installation because they wouldn't take and extra five minutes to do it right!

When I get on the job my biggest enemy is almost always the last flooring installer, pretty embarrassing that we do it to each other

I like the quarter round cutters but you are 100% correct. They don’t do a quality job.
@marshallmcfarland755511 ай бұрын
They had a big gap in between the wall and the LVT that’s why the quarter round is the wrong way. That is a terrible job. My first job wasn’t that bad

You should be mad at the store that keeps this guy working for them not the installer, he is just doing the same if he is not fire he will thing is okay
@FloorsbySouthernboys11 ай бұрын
The guy that installed the vinyl no longer gets work there. The other guy that did the quarter round came back and fixed all of his stuff. It looks much better. I will be uploading a video about that as soon as I can get it put together. I installed that vinyl today to correct this Job In got footage of everything.

Did you ever think they got what they payed fot.i blame the store they should know the experience or craft man ship of there installers. Most just wants the money the job pays until there is a problem. You said it they are fast .that's what these stores what fast and cheap. More for them until there is a problem so that is the work man ship they get.i feel sorry for there customer.

The store owner came out to take a leases. It was very dissatisfied with the work, and could not believe that it comes from the particular man did he just kept saying this is not how he works, but I assured him it is because I go behind this guy quite often and customize transitions. I see his work all the time and it always looks like this.
