It was doubly poetic even. First the Lulu wrote ff at 4 minutes even though it was 4-4 so totally winnable. Then the enemy team ff presumably because they didnt notice the jarvan went AFK BECAUSE THEY FF TO EARLY lol But just as pekin said I can at least somewhat understand it at high elo. But I play in low elo (Silver/Gold) and people ff at 15 all the time. But at the same time I have won a LOT of games and thrown just as many after it seemed impossible. Just insane mentality especially at low elo.

@@TheFeelTrain Doesnt even need to be someone fed. Low elo players dont know how to close out game effectively period. Thats why when we play in a group we just never ff. Worst case you lose and get some practice on your champ. Best case you end up turning the game. Low risk high reward..

THANK YOU! I played with a guy who would be all "games over" super early and nothing would convince him otherwise. Even if we COULD win he would say "not worth winning, other players don't deserve it" like DUDE! They are actually playing, they deserve it more than the guy who doesn't want to play!!! Only wanted to win on his terms and he alienated all his IRL friends that played with him, because he was plat playing with golds and thought he was above everyone.

I absolutely agree even though I don’t play league. I used to play overwatch years ago, and the overwatch team would suspend the top streamers for being toxic, shittalking or things like that. Literally FRICKEN XQC got suspended on stream for that kind of behaviour. I know personally when I saw that it affected me. The development team taking actions like this really changed the course of the toxicity of the player base of overwatch for the better. Although it was relatively early in the lifetime of the game, and league’s toxicity is much older and deep seated so it would be much harder to change. It would be nice to see some action taken by larger streamers on their viewer bases or people who can have a meaningful effect on the toxic players.

People love to troll and the more people complain about getting sniped/ghosted the more people will do it to em. There have been rare cases where streamers will have the worst fan base that trolls them and continues to "bully" them with sniping and social media will blow it out of proportion like it's constantly a problem.

Nah the emerald wintrading is actually real. The amount of times I have seen a "coincidental" lvl 30 deranked diamond acc running it down on yone/sylas for enchanter main accs playing jungle or adc is fucking absurd. It's one thing when one person sees a pattern. Fine they're unlucky. Sure. But when so many fucking people see the same handful of champs on a bought deranking acc vs off role enchanter accs who suddenly are playing EXCLUSIVELY carry champs.... no its not a coincidence anymore. None of this is to say I play perfectly every game. I most certainly do not. Ive ran it some games. Tilted or intentional. Yet still. In this TEAM GAME... the amount of times I've had illegitimate teams /Be it FF culture or WINTRADERS/ in emerald. I'd be able to have a stable living income for how much it's happened to others + myself for the rest of my life. United States Welfare would have nothing on the fucking enigma that is League of Legends Emerald.

Honestly this whole convo about toxic streamers is exactly why I watch a combo of Pekin and KayPea. Pekin for high elo content, KayPea for more relatable low elo. She isn’t that high up. But she has good streams bc she’s got a nice personality *and* she isn’t a toxic rage streamer. She also believes in the whole “this is gold/plat, just sit the fuck down and play and I will mute the toxic chat spammers” mindset that I also agree strongly with. If you watch league bc you just like the game and don’t care about climbing, KayPea is great.

So glad people are speaking up about this. People spamming surrender votes every game no matter what is so exhausting. People are going to lose half of the games they play. If they aren't having fun, that's fine, but they should probably find a game that doesn't make you miserable all the time. I just like playing League. I just want to play it out, even if that means losing. People get so doom-obsessed that the only way they can cope is by trying to predict their failure as early as possible. There's people in bronze who will call "ff" when the enemy gets first blood because they are straight up pretending they know how the game will go. This only got exacerbated with quickplay surrenders. I wanted a chill, noncompetitive way to play, but I can go for hours now and never get past level 12 because either my team surrenders or the enemy does. It did not used to be like this.

To give a counterargument, I think nothing is wrong with an early FF. Time is more valuable than anything and I would rather not put in the effort and extra time to try to come back when I can start fresh next game. Obviously I'm not FFing the moment something goes wrong but sometimes i'd rather just cut my losses. 😊

Personally, I'll usually vote yes if three other people are voting yes. Sure, it's always possible to win, the other guys can always throw, but your team needs to be willing and able to catch that throw, so unless I have a very short and simple statement on why we can win anyway I'll hit yes... but sometimes I can say "we have Veigar, stall and let him scale", and often that doesn't actually win the game, we can't stall well enough or they're ahead enough to brute past us regardless, but sometimes, sometimes it does, and it is glorious. But yeah, I don't vote unless three people have said yes, because you can always catch a throw even if you're actually worse. If you aren't worse, then uhhhh... yeah.

I complain because EVERY game I've played this season has been an FF 15 game. I'm the only one with decent KDA, our base is blown open and if we keep playing the same way we are, the enemy team is just going to end. I'm not saying they wont make mistakes, but you can sort of gauge when a game is over when your team always wants to perma fight, i get it, gold is gold, but even if all our lanes + jungle are behind an ace for a shutdown aint worth it.
