Lol not really it’s because he’s being operated more centrally last season and City have possession a fullback always shift into midfield for a double pivot so the right side is a bit more crowdy he’s finding him self on the left more but he’s the same on any side

Absolute 🐐. He has been consistently one of the best players in the world last 2-3 years and the best player in the league but I feel he doesn't get enough credit and recognition as he plays for City. The man is a machine, he can do it all. He can pass, dribble, defend, shoot, you name it.

De Bruyne is consistent quality. Zero excitement and flair whatsoever in his game, but he’s precise with all his actions. Same with Gerrard, dead to watch but in moments they will show you the quality they have as footballers.

I also agree in that KDB is like if Gerrard and Beckham did the Trunks and Goten infusion. KDB is dynamic with his powerful running style and the way his clarts the ball from anywhere with precision and absolute venom, is basically Steven Gerrard. And they way man can cross with swerve, curve, power and precision is Beckham-esque. The mastery of Pep's system is that, in the 4-3-3 with the 2 8's of David Silva and KDB, David Silva's role was what you alluded to earlier, in being able to pick up those small pocket of spaces between the midfield and defence line, and to be ball-retainer for the team in the final third, and no one does it better than D.Silva one of the greatest players to do that in that position. And on the right side of the 8 you have a different profile of player in KDB, whose more of a crosser, shooter and more dynamic and powerful than D.Silva. So as a defender and a midfielder it's a bloody nightmare having to deal with Silva's number 10's instincts picking up those dangerous spaces, but you also have another problem were you have KDB who will either clart the ball if you give him an inch, or will put in absolute whippy for Sterling backpost runs. When people say "KDB is the best midfielder of all time", I have a different stance on it. I label KDB as the one of or if not, the best footballer in what he can do with a football. The only lack in his game is the quick thinking instincts you need when your pressed that players like d.silva and fabregas excel at more, but in football it's rare to get a player that is good at everything.

I can tell from past comments you've made about him that you might not rate him that highly but I really recommend you watch a comp on Lampard's all-round play. So many people see him as a midfield poacher but he was way more than that.

I’m not gonna lie, kdb a Wolfsburg and his early career at city, he has some flair about him, now pep has coached that out of him and his now just crazy efficient, same with Bernardo and mahrez when It comes 2 coaching out the flair. I hope he doesn’t coach it out of jack💔
