Truly brilliant stuff, congratulations on getting such a box in the mail, a lot of money to spend on postage, we love your channel and your way of doing things, thanks. I pretty sure the tomica ambulance is a Hi Ace, but I am not positive, the dinky bus is difficult to put together, but its worth it because it has a ringing bell and a switch opens both doors, I love this castings and I have 3 examples, it took me 4 hours to get the doors to function properly, who ever repainted the bus, gave up on trying to get them to work right and I can understand why. The tip I can give on the bus assembly is the doors have a longer metal stalk on one end, use this end first when putting it together, mine are not kits, but I am sure it will be just as difficult to assemble. If you would like to see my complete ones let me know and I will include them in a video for you buddy. Colin.

I am one state away from Pennsylvania (PA) in the United States. Crazy to see the Carlisle, PA truck has traveled the world going from one collection to another. We know it has gone from Pennsylvania to Australia to Canada. Would be interesting to know where else that truck has been over the 39 years since 1981. If only these models could talk, lol. Such a cool story!

Kinda jealous of that Winross truck. I don't have many, but I love those things. The Winross company's original intent was actually for advertising companies. If you had a trucking company you could order a custom truck with your companies logo on it, which is really cool. They also had much better springy suspension in the later years.

Those premium collection matchbox cars have been popping up on my marketplace so I been grabbing them for awhile now. Either loose or packaged up still and some off the wall stuff I normally do not see. But I do like the variety pile as a call it. Mixed corgi , tomica , play art matchbox, hotwheels , yatmings etc. I buy them like in the hundreds in a rubbermaid storage containers. I been collecting for almost 40 years now.

WOW! What a Wonderful package from Australia The Siku Porsche 911 is not from the 1990s. More like 1970s to early 1980s. The 1990s and newer Siku’s are not the same quality as the ones from the 70s and 80s The Matchbox company/Mattel bought the “Dinky” trademark back in 1987 and used it on the Matchbox 1-75 range MB7 Volkswagen Golf MB9 Fiat Abarth MB44 Citroen 15 CV MB51 Pontiac Firebird SE MB60 Toyota Supra MB69 1983 Corvette In1988 -1995 Matchbox even made a Dinky Collection with 35 models to represent the Dinky era. You can even find more modern MBX cars like the “Stars of Cars” line with Dinky printed on the plastic base The winross truck looks awesome, just to bad there’s no interior. Otherwise I probably go hunting for some on eBay You should look into to Diecast Promotions DCP trucks that makes awesome detailed North American trucks you see on the roads of Canada and The US

Your channel is really cool, I wanted to ask you, I see in your videos that you leave some out of the packaging and others inside, do you leave the rarest ones in the packaging or is it just a matter of organization? do you like taking it out of the packaging or prefer to leave it in the packaging? I also collect but at a much lower level, and mine I almost always take out of the packaging, do you buy a lot on eBay? And I also wanted to know what is the focus of your collection, do you have some themes but also have a lot of old miniatures, is your collection in the basement of your house? it must be your refuge, it must be really cool to have this place just for you, you probably have already said these things on video, but as I don't speak English very well, sorry for the big text but I already wanted to send all my questions kkk. And your collection is incredible. I'm your fan. 👍 👍 👍✌✌✌👊👊👊
@wtffor4 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your kind message and questions! I am happy to answer your questions. :) My collection is in a 900 square foot basement, two rooms, plus two storage closets. I have approximately 5000 cars on display, room for about 7000 in total. The rest are sorted and stored in boxes mostly. It is quite the nice refuge to have just in my house for when I am bored or feeling nostalgic! I used to buy more on eBay, now more from local hobby shops I have found while searching online. Congrats on your collection, keep it growing, happy hunting!
