Shaye is amazing on piano. She plays with great rhythm, power, and control. To think that she thinks fast enough to improvise at that speed is incredible. How fortunate are we who get to witness such art created on the fly, the product of years of practice and perseverance!

That's not improv. It only sounds that way because of many-many rehearsals.

And how fortunate we all are that Shaye Cohn felt the age-old lure of New Orleans and decided to come South and join the mix of the all-time greats, and add her touch to the Legacy music of the Crescent City. I would like to urge all the preservation society types,, some still heralding from the Garden District, to actively support the rare talent like this, and encourage future generations to pass on the torch.

I love your traditional New Orleands jazz stylized as the 1930s, I feel like being moved back in time, your performance is brilliant, thank you for playing and putting your music in to internet, congratulations, good wishes for Tuba Skinny and musicians who used to play with them and those who played with them as a guest .
