I understand, why people can assume, he can be thinking several bars ahead, for example when calling out the things, people are wearing - because he can notice them beforehand, and then just address them later, but on the part with the van, you can clearly see, that he is literally only the half-bar ahead, because that was just sudden and unexpected situation, and he incorporated it literally like 1-2seconds later. That's the most common part of being "in the zone" across the spectrum - doesn't matter, if the person is doing the freestyle, playing on the piano, or like in my case, while playing liveset from ableton (from a "live bank" of approx 800 short loops, no track-like arrangement or automatization).. The person playing the piano would tell, he is not actively "creating" the music in his head in advance, he "just" plays, what he is hearing in the head. I had it also, i just worked with that specific amount of loops, but also in the process, i wasn't thinking about "which vocal sample would fit to this synth, that is playing, and what melody i should choose as next", I was just hearing, what was playing in that moment, and these samples would pick without me, so I would hear them in my head added to what is currently playing, and i just had to quickly find them and play them, same thing with all the effects.. So I assume, Harry has it the same, his freestyles are so complex, that people are thinking, he has to think about it so much ahead, but in fact, he doesn't have to, he "look" on anything, it structures "itself effortlessly", and he "just" spits it. In my opinion, that is why its called being "in the zone", and also why it is so out of reach for the majority of the people - it requires the confidence (i.e. trust to that stream of flow, which you are recieving) to a level, where you are not being an obstacle to yourself by worrying, if it would sound bad - and even not to think about it at all, because then you "pollute" the flow by your thinking process. I hope, this could clarify at least a little bit to anyone, who is having difficulties to imagine the concept of being in the zone more specifically.

That is why I like Harry's 'tributes' so much where he basically freestyles a song about a topic without any filler. No other rappers, no my freestyle or Hmack references, just verse after verse after verse on topic. In a slightly slower speed mostly.
