Thank you very much Steve, I’m glad I can be entertaining and relatable enough for you to come back to! All my life I’ve been in circles where it’s never been ok to show emotions, but this community have helped me let go and in turn you get to see your true self when you watch me. As thankful as you are for my videos, I’m just as thankful for your viewership and your openness to relate 🙏

This song is from the prospective of someone who is going through some real shit. It is sung to that one friend who really hasn't been through much but is always trying to relate and cheer you up without having any clue what you're actually going through. Hense the I'm ok portion, like "fine, you win... I'm all better now because of your surface level psychobabble."

I found you about a week ago...ironically, I am here for the My Chem stuff, the metal, AND the kpop stuff. I have 3 daughters and, over the years, they dragged me into all sorts of music. I love all of it. My current obsession is kpop with my youngest daughter... but I actually saw My Chemical Romance live with their Welcome to The Black Parade tour here in Florida USA, back in 2006. I am currently binging all your reactions❤

So true - im 57 and just discovered this song last week (and the band). Can't believe what I was doing in the mid 2000's to have missed them (probably too focussed on bringing up babies and protecting their litttle ears - lol). Having listened to all their albums 10's of times this week now, I can't believe this talent went unnoticed by me for so long. I'm not sure if it's raw talent, or if they have a great producer (as I haven't watched much live stuff yet) but plan to dig deeper.

There's events that turn nightclubs into "emo night" they play pretty much this sort of music and these songs go hard in a large crowed all singing along. For newyears they generally do the black parade at midnight

Just gonna say, people REALLY underestimate Gerard's voice. (The lead singer). I'm a trained vocalist and even I have trouble keeping up with the level of theatrics and his ability to handle the actual medlodies, and his higher notes. He's a BEAST! One of the greatest of a generation. His ACTUAL screaming voice is absolutely brutal as well. He uses it in a few of their songs.

If you are going down the MCR rabbit hole, you should check out a contemporary of theirs, very different tonally and thematically to MCR, their music is all based off an overarching sci-fi story, which they have put out series of graphic novels and comic books diving into, Coheed and Cambria. They have an unbelievably deep reservoir of songs, so Its kind of hard to tell you where to jump into it, most reviewers start with "WELCOME HOME" off their 3rd album, but I would reccomend starting closer to the beginning with either "DELIRIUM TRIGGER" or "IN KEEPING SECRETS OF SILENT EARTH:3". Those are the tracks most early fans got hooked on. One of the most unique bands out there.
