You’ll find the Rapaki Track in the Port Hills of Christchurch. The walk starts off on the corner where Centaurus Road meets Vernon Terrace and Rapaki Road in St Martins. The walkway is for hikers, runners and cyclists. You can bring your dog.

Update: an elderly man was attacked over the weekend by a man at the top of the Rapaki Track. He suffered head and facial injuries. I mentioned in the video that criminals frequently break into cars around this area, but it's concerning to see this violent attack has occurred. What a lovely, friendly area to live in. I went to Cashmere High School, and many of the students used to live around there. The neighbourhood used to be a nice, safe place for school kids.
