I... Actually kinda like Bound 2. I always read it as a song about cynical, almost loveless romance between two people. Like, they meet in a strip club in the middle of the day on a Tuesday, and Kanye sounds like hed be genuinely impressed if they last another month. And this romance is juxtaposed by these really saccarine sample of love songs. I also like how the title 'Bound 2' can have two different meanings (see what they did there'. Theres 'bound to fall in love' which is saying that at some point they will eventually fall in love. Then theres the way its said in the song as 'bound to falling in love' where the two are 'bound', or required, to fall in love. This theme is furthered by the sample bridge, which ends 'no leaving this party with nobody to love.' I can even give the drowning line a slight pass. Drowning, in this sense, is being immerse in a relationship, being lovestruck. But this obviously is not happening in this relationship. It kinda parallels Kanyes actual relationship with Kim, actually. The Jeromy Rome line still sucks though.

I took the Emmit Till line not as metaphorically referring a sexual act to a mutilated child, but metaphorically referring to why he was mutilated. Which was spitting game to a white cashier, trying to beat the pussy up. Either way, Wayne should've known it was a touchy subject, that it would cause an uproar, and shouldn't have used the line nonetheless.
