women wear high heels cause high heeled riding boots used to be the way that people would dress decoratively. High heeled boots were originally meant to make it easy to stay in the stirrups of a horse while drawing a bow or otherwise standing to do something. However, sometime in the Victorian period, male fashion was parred down and all decorative touches removed, while female fashion wasn't, so women kept high heels, while men stopped wearing them.
@Ruinwyn4 жыл бұрын
High heels were also popular among men because they emphasized calves (strong healthy legs were important look). Once pantaloons were replaced in mens fashion by trousers, heels became unneccessary since calves weren't on the show anymore. In womens fashion around the same time hemlines started to reveal ankle and little calf, so high heels stayed important.

Heels were a leftover from the 1700s when the French Royal Court at Versailles wore heels. Specifically the men, it was supposed to show off their muscular calves. This was also a leftover trait from how men's footwear often had a heel in it because it made ridding a horse easier. Look at Cowboy boots for that. However eventually men stopped wearing them, not sure when and women kept on until we see the narrow heels that are common today.

13:11 Lil Kim brags of having a kid at a late age and I read somewhere Nicki was actually pregnant at an early age or something and had to deal with abortion. I hope she wasn't meant to diss the fact she didn't start a family, or even remind me of her teenhood drama she had so many years for to get over...

Actually.. about the young thug line... It was a kind of flex of the European aristocracy to wear undersized shoes .. it is a way of saying "I am not part of the working class" if you are working you're probably going to need to be in comfortable shoes or it's going to be hard to work but if you're rich and sit around all day.....you get the point.. it's stupid but it was really a thing.
